A terribly shocking element of this to me, a former teacher, is that the school district initially denied all medical claims stating that this was a workman's comp, case since the shooting was an expected and normal danger to being a public school teacher in that district.

Kids don't even need to go to Kindergarten. The fact that they don't want him in the first grade is really weird.
This is sooo sad & unfortunately, something that happens wayyyy more than the public realizes! Praying for rhe family of that teacher!

If the teacher is seated and the 6 year old is aggressive, it is very possible.
Unfortunately, if someone walks in as you're throwing the kid off of you, they might interpret it as "child abuse", especially with, um, those administrators.
I was thinking the same thing. But *@michaelnguyen823* brings up a valid argument, which is really sad to have to admit because you’d like to think that parents could just raise their kids better, and that schools were still allowed to administer discipline to unruly students… what a backwards world we live in man, what has happened to human behavior? Is it technology and the internet? 🤷🏻♂️
