    Thank you for your presentations. I have quoted Gurdev Nidar Singh Nihang in teaching a graduate engineering management class because one can interpret these teachings at a different level, beyond marshal arts, to apply to life in a more general sense.

    How 1:25 ? you can't really doin that in the real knife fight bruh, just grab knife like that

    • @ilsegno7732
      @ilsegno7732 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You know that's a sharp, right? Not a training knife? 1% of a knife will actually injure you, the edge and the point. So grabbing the flat is no problem whatsoever. We see grabbing the blade in 10's of historical fighting manuals. Check out Il Fior di Battaglia, written by a military contractor in the late 1300's. Lots of blade grabbing in there, both knives and swords.

    • @xoda345
      @xoda345 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you grab the knife, your opponent can try to pull and you will get cut. This is 101 of Filipino Martial Arts. FMA is considered to be the most advanced knife system.

      @@k9aid514 I understand where you're coming from bro...and being someone who has trained in MAC-P (Modern Army Combatives Program...a derivative of MMA designed specifically for the battlefield) I totally agree that MMA has improved most empty hand ancient combat arts for modern day usage...but Ghatka and it's mother art...which is this art right here...is a different animal my friend. As a professionally trained soldier and combat vet I totally understand where this master at arms is trying to present to his students. His method is straight forward and to the point...and as you can see bro it's with weapons that have the potential to cut , stab , bludgeon or decapitate. These techniques are being preserved as a tool for life and death fighting. Nothing more...nothing less. You have your opinion...I have mine and I can respect that. Let's agree to disagree my friend and leave it at that.
