Eagles SEEM like the most complete, healthy team besides Hurts concussion that'll be fine by playoffs. Can the beat the Lions OL? The only other NFC team that can stand in the way of the Philadelphia Eagles is the Philadelphia Eagles, which beat them badly in 2023.
@@JESUSmowersNFL lions have a middling secondary outside of brian branch. you cant say the same for the eagles the lions are very similar to the eagles on offense: phenomenal offensive line, all-pro wideout and a top tier wr2, solid tight ends and a killer rb room. though the eagles have a massively better rb1 and slightly worse tight ends. however, on defense the eagles are way way better a team cant be more complete than another team that shares all of its strengths and also has even more talent at multiple positions lol

Thanks for these wonderful videos! For a guy who has been watching over 20 years now, but was never a sports guy a lot of the stuff I try to follow live and it’s just too much but with your breakdown I really know what’s going on. I’ll continue to watch these excellent videos thanks for what you do!
Great VIDEO... I am a ALABAMA FAN but been a J Carter fan for 5 years since he arrived on GEORGIA campus. This kid is SPECIAL. I still cant believe HOWIE was able to get him
Most amazing stat, despite being one of the most double teamed defensive linemen in the NFL- Jalen Carter has been held by opposing linemen, even tight ends and RBs at times this season for a total of 0 times. Not a single holding call against Jalen Carter. Opposing offensive linemen tackled him, grabbed his face mask, full bear hugs - but never been held, what a feat.
i been hating on jordan davis saying he wouldn’t of made it out the first round had we not drafted him there so out of curiosity i watched 10 2022 mock draft videos he was top 20 pick in each one 😂
Oren Burks did okay but hes no Nakobe Dean. There's a couple misreads that Burks did that Nakobe Dean would not have did. Olus the blitz up the middle was missing
14:04 - it was Nolan Smith who forced the fumble; another angle showed his arm getting the ball out. EDIT: and at 14:09 you see him stick his arm up taking credit for the forced fumble.
Davis makes incredible plays and then there's plays where I just wonder what the fuck he's thinking. He's definitely underdeveloped and that's probably why he is part-time even though I'm pretty sure he was full time last year. Carter though is an absolute unstoppable force with an unstoppable motor. Haven't seen somebody like him in a long time. Also Zach Baun at linebacker has been fucking crazy
davis is huge in the run game and i also think we as fans are just spoiled, we can’t have TWO jalen carters, love jordan davis but i don’t think we need every player to be this 1st team all pro
@damian4906 they don't understand why we have two lbs rated in top 5 stats. Davis keep blockers off philly LBs. An attribute that doesn't get noticed. He reminds me of big Siragusa for Baltimore back in the days of that dominant ravens defense that allowed Ray Lewis to ne so good in the middle.
@@damian4906 theres also no reason why jordan davis couldnt develop similarly into a freak like jalen carter. jordan davis is just so goddamn strong and quick that its hard to imagine him not being able to pick up a bag of tricks throughout his playing career jordan davis' big draw is that you really cannot beat him in the run game, hes so damn big that even if he doesnt necessarily "win" a rep its damn near impossible to actually overpower him. someone with that kind of strength will always be a force on the interior once he starts to develop his bag of tricks to win leverage early against guards. if only fletcher cox were still around to show him how to really do it
Davis is the primary run stopped on this team. Without him our run defense would be an actual problem. There’s a stat that says we let up 6 ypc without Davis and 2.5 with him.
Them Dawgs is hell even in the NFL. Carter, Jordan , Smith and Dean if the Eagles draft Mykel or Jalon next year that would be awesome, Mykel Williams and Jalon Walker are freak athletes
Tyler whiffed on that first film. The only threat on his side was engaged, he should know where their best Jalen is, so he should have shifted right, allowing the center to shift, engage Jalen and stop that pressure dead.
Luckily, the cap will probably have increased 20% or more by the time most of them are up for renewal...i think Naboke will be the 1st eligible one since he was a 3rd round pick, so no 5th year option
eagles dont dick around they aren the jets or browns. extensions will be made b4 free agency. best front office in the nfl/ thank god they cant be traded
Why are we saying that Jalen Carter is the best DT in football. Have you seen what Dexter Lawerence has been doing and what he was doing this season? He was leading the league in sacks at one point as a nose tackle. In my personal opinion Dexter Lawerence is the best DT in football right now and it isn’t even close as nobody is doing what he is doing at the position. The only reason he isn’t really recognized is because he is on some bum ass Giants team. It’s similar to the people saying Chris Jones is the best DT in football rn but out of his 5 sacks 4 of them came in 2 games along with having less tackles than Dexter despite playing more games. The only reason Chris Jones is even remotely getting such a title is because he is on the chiefs which means he is gonna get glazed by everyone.
Davis has one more yer after this year on his contract. Then a team option. Idk if I'd resign him. Imo he doesn't play like the 13th player selected in a draft.
Look bro, I'm a huge eagles fan myself, but Jalen Carter is not the best DT in football. My opinion is Chris Jones is the best DT in football and then second Best could be argued between Jalen Carter, Dexter Lawrence, Christian Wilkins, Vita Vea and even Leonard Williams. I mean Jalen Carter is on the path to greatness but he really needs to work on his overall body strength. Some of the other guys that I mentioned are definitely better at beating double teams, due to superior explosive strength and size. Jalen has a much smaller frame and shorter arms than a lot of high level DT in the league, so if he really wants to take his game to the next level, then he should utilize state of the art strength and speed training in the off-season. Jordan Davis needs to improve his upper body strength and conditioning, or honestly I'd trade him for a draft pick. Jordan Davis may have a good personality, but his performance doesn't come close to what type of draft capital was spent on him.
And you are naming seasoned veterans with way more experience and way more time learning the NFL game speed and honing their moves. Carter is a certified beast no matter what you think he should be rated.
@jadenblackerby3325 Defensive Tackles effect the game in way far beyond just pass rushing my friend. Are you an eagles fan? Obviously not, because you would have remembered the last two times that Vita Vea absolutely dominated the interior offensive line of the eagles, including Jason Kelce in the playoffs. Vita Vea owned the line of scrimmage and got penetration even when facing constant double teams. Know your shit bro!
Jordan is out after this season and Dean too small. I'm getting a couple of LBs and a Safety & CB in this draft. We need to trade Steen and get a couple of guards/center in the draft.
Overall body strength ? This dude is tossing around linemen like kids played almost every snap the whole season. He is plenty strong and I'm much better shape then last season. He will continue to get better and stronger with time but l wouldn't exactly say the guy who is held and double teamed every play ( with no holding calls )isn't strong enough.
Damn dude, pretty bad breakdown. QB draw? na, inside hand off. Highlight plays where they get 16 yards or big plays, don't get a tackle, or they get the throw off? Comon. You're an NFL scout??? na.
the philly dogs yall dnt remember tht team they were on back to back nati champs.they had the best defence n collegiate history, they got jordan, then the didnt want to take chance on cater.dean fell in the draft cuz he had like a pectorial some shit ringo fell in the draft like they all was suppose to go higher n they fell to us philly treat u good they are royalty round here
Carter is the best I've seen since Warren Sapp.
It doesnt show up in the box score but He changes the game literally every play
Aaron Donald???
He reminds me of JB
@ I was a pup when JB played but my daddy loved him
2:10 Milton is mirroring Carter almost step for step as well 🔥🔥🔥

What's interesting is seeing when a defensive player does his job or better, even if the play results in a gain for the offense.
I also sometimes forget that our edge rushers get reps against lane and mailata. Iron sharpens iron
Once Nolan develops some counter moves he's gonna be almost as dangerous as JC
Tyler whiffed on that first film. The only threat on his side was engaged, he should know where their best Jalen is, so he should have shifted right, allowing the center to shift, engage Jalen and stop that pressure dead.
I see Milton and ojomo learning from carter with there hands with the swim and rip that they weren’t doing and it’s showing to work
Gonna be interesting to see how all those Georgia contracts work out in a couple years when players are due
we will cross that bridge when we get there, let's just win these chips now
Luckily, the cap will probably have increased 20% or more by the time most of them are up for renewal...i think Naboke will be the 1st eligible one since he was a 3rd round pick, so no 5th year option
Roseman is letting Jordan Davis walk, book it. Whether they sign baun long term determines nakobes future
Bring the LB in from Green Bay and the Edge from Jacksonville..get the whole Georgia gang together.

You could tell Jalen was dominating when that cowboys OL clubbed him the head in frustration after that one turnover
