Great video Sarah, thank you. I’m planning a girls trip mid to late Sept for 10 days. I don’t want to do a five hour drive so if you had to pick a favorite area would it be north or south? Leaning towards. Let’s and skipping Cagliari. Looks like we could fly into Alfredo or Olbia or in one and out the other. Please tell me your favorites.
They're both great & can't go wrong with either but I highly recommend the North! The south is a bit more off the beaten path and still beautiful but there are a lot more amenities in the North. we flew out of Olbia and it was really easy. You MUST go to Le Maddalena on a boat day - it is so beautiful and I believe protected as a national park. We stayed in Cap D'orso and it was great to get in and out of Palau on the north east.
Olbia is closer to entertainment places. The coast from Porto rotondo (south) to Palau (north) is where night clubs are. The water is world class everywhere in Sardina from top to bottom as long as you know where you should be going so that doesn’t matter much.
