Wild burnouts, near miss smash, drag racing @ Street Outlaws Australia Powercruise

- In this video I head out to Sydney Motorsport Park to watch the drags, burnouts, and incredible cars taking part in the Street Outlaws Australia by Powercruise event. This video is full of action including a near miss smash probably due to even the slightest oil or debris on the track. Watch as the two drivers take impressive evasive steps to evade what could have been catastrophic for the two cars. I congratulate both drivers on their skills and the organisers for the safety of the track which helped in the avoidance of collision and also the quick evaluation and preparation of the track straight after the incident to avoid an accident. Watch a lot of the action from this fantastically organised event which will be a hit in the future. A killa event!

Events info: Night meets are the following, 1st Saturday of the month is Flemington markets, 2nd Saturday of the months is Penrith homemaker. 3rd Saturday of the month is Greenway Wetherill Park, 4th Saturday of the month is Harry's cafe de wheels Liverpool. All start 6pm. As for Sunday morning meets, all start 7am, 1st Sunday of the month is Fidler Rouse Hill, 2nd Sunday of the month is, Bungaribee park. These are the regular events I know and don't follow a calendar as I know these off by heart. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Let me know which was better? Filming the racing from the top of the pits, which was the first place I filmed the racing from, or did the filming from the seated grandstand side look better, which I filmed from towards the end of the video? Personally, I found less motion sickness from the grandstand side as I didn't have to swing the camera as much, but the viewers opinion is what counts.
Prefer 2nd position mate. Closer...and could see both cars take off more clearly👍

Love seeing the old Mercury Capri's being used.my folks had a 72 here in the states and I always dreamt if sticking a small V8 into it.compared to the stock 4 banger in it

@@HorsepowerAddiction do Ausies not have much for 2 door hotrod like we do here in the states? I mean I see them using a lot of light weight 4 door cars and Utes, I think that's what they call those pickups
@@deannederhoff it's just that Ford and General Motors Holden built mainly four door performance cars here in Aus than two doors and people grew up with them and got used to them. Not many two door models were available. But it will change now as the new model performance cars are imported from the States so two doors will be the go in the newer model cars. Yes. Utes are pick up trucks.

I noticed that Aussies go in for sedans as muscle cars.In the past in the USA, four door cars weren`t looked at as being "sporty" but they actually make a lotta sense when piling in your friends. You don`t have to lean forward for them to get in.

Yep that is a major difference in Australia to US. You guys prefer 2 doors yet we love 4 doors as they're more practical.

This isn't a timed event. It's just to beet the opponent. And then it's a knockout till the last man is standing. From line to line. No times. Of course I don't have the rights to film the whole event so I try to get the cars at least have one run to get a feel of their power. Thanks for the support buddy! Next one in October. I won't be at the next test n tune but I'll be at the next Rd 6 championship. I ran a 9.75 with the corolla in super sedan in the first qualify round.

Think doing these things on a secure closed track is the best . You can let all the cars drive hard without any chance some idiot will pull out causing a crash , regardless of who makes the mistake DANGEROUS drivers on open public streets bad idea ‘ god bless those injured people ! Thanks George

They are not timed at this event. If they did I would show the times like I do when I film drag racing. Times are important and I make sure I film the times as you will see in all my drag videos. This event is different. It's called Grudge Kings and it's just to beet the opponent. No times. Thanks for the support buddy!👍😎

@@andrewrramdon3032 you never came across as sucker punch. I like questions and I like explaining. It was my first time there and I learned together with you guys. It's a knockout. They have a few trials then the knock out stage begins till there is one man standing. But it's just to beet your opponent and try to get into the next round and try and be the winner. So it's racing your opponent
without times. It's not exactly like the drag racing we are used to. It's actually new here and it was the second time this event took place. Next one is in October and I'll be there to film more and explain better too. I think people are getting mixed up because I don't film the whole thing as it would take 4 hours. I just film the trial runs. Probably get each car running once. I can't film the whole event. I just show the power of the cars and how they go. I don't film the contest where knockout starts. That's probably why alot of people are not clear on how it works. But there's no way I can film a 4 hour event. I would need the rights for it.
I wish some Aussie would PLEASE PLEASE tell me what the whole Endless Burn out deal is about ? Wouldn't you rather race your car than chance explode a tire and ripping the rear quarter panel completely off the car ? Whats it all about Mate ???? and will you please tell me what you fascination is with 4 dr cars ... We here in the states don't use many 4 dr cars except maybe to shuttle the crew around ..
Burnouts in this event are to warm up the tyres so the car gets more grip for a better take off. And they are legal to do at this event. As a whole, people love watching burnouts. The way the car behaves, going sideways or fish tailing when the tyres are spun and the smoke produced by the tyres plus the sound of the engine revving make it exciting to watch and listen. As for performing one yourself the motion of going sideways and the fishtailing plus the above gives you a great sensation mixed with adrenaline. And it shows how powerful a car is depending on the burnout. I have stopped filming street burnouts because I don't want to promote illegal burnouts. Also recently there have been some deaths in the US from street car takeovers and illegal burnouts and TH-cam do not want car vloggers to promote them even though I stopped filming them quite a bit before this. They will close down channels that film illegal burnouts. Burnouts are big in the US too. DDE, Effspot, Savage Garage are just a few channels that until recently were filming burnouts. I know that Effspot has stopped since he got a warning but not sure on the rest as I haven't watched their channels recently. When burnouts are permitted and allowed to be filmed, I put it in the title because it attracts viewers. As for 4 door sedans, General Motors Holden, sister to GMC and Ford Australia produced 4 door performance cars. Much more than two door performance cars although two door performance were built. That's what we grew up with and got used to it. Plus it's easier to carry some mates in the car with you so you don't have to keep moving the seat to let the back seat passengers in. That's about it. Yeah. Ford Australia and General Motors Holden made most of our performance cars in four door formation. Thats what Aussies grew up with and are used to them. They did make two door models as well but mainly four door. Thanks for the support buddy!👍😎

@@bartbullock9742 they know the bits are all from the states. Especially the heart. Ford's are also using the American Cleveland engine and the Windsor too. Mustangs, Camaros and Dodges are now being imported from the States, all two door now. So now that no more cars are being produced in Australia, it will be two door beasts from the States. Four and two door from Europe. Two and four from Asia.
