- Building a home gym can be hard for many reasons. It might be because of the space or maybe no equipment. But if you want it bad enough, it will happen. Just clear a small space and keep adding on.

Yeah at the end of the day I think it all falls down on how sturdy your base is and it should be super strong so there is no wobble, mine is not good at all but if you get a 500 dollar solid oak one which is def a big investment, it will be 10x better

Dude I love boxing, I recently got divorced an bought my own house.
I selected the biggest room in my basement for my customized gym, YOU are right, about buying stuff over the years, listen, that Aqua heavy bag is junk.... I bought the title titanic heavy bag, from Title. It weighs about 140 lb’s. Costs about $200. However, THERE IS NO SAND IT, SO ITS EASY ON UR JOINTS AN YOU CAN HIT WITH JUST UR HANDS, NO WRAPS. BUT DONT DO THAT. I LOVE THIS HEAVY BAG. YOU SHOWED ME THE HEAVY BAG STAND, WELL I HAVE THE SAME THING. I TOOK IT APART, I USED THE BAR THAT IS BENT AN MOUNTED NEXT TO MY HEAVY BAG, THEN BOUGHT A COMMERCIAL PULLEY, I USE THIS TO PUT A RESISTANCE BAND THROUGH THE PULLEY, AN USE ONE ANKLE STRAP AN ONEPULL HANDLE SO I CAN ASSIST MY LEGS BY KICKING AN STRETCHING MY LEGS.
I TOOK THE OLD SPEED BAG PLATFORM FROM THAT GARAGE SALE, THEN IBOGHT MATTS AN A ROCK... I PUTTHE SPPEED BAG PLATFORM UNDER THE ROCK, THEN I USED A CHAIN TO GO THROUGH THE HOLE UP TO THE “D” RING. THEN I ATTACHED BUNGEE CORDS TO THE CHAIN AN THE “D”. RING, THIS WILL ALLOW THE HEAVY BAG TO SWING OUT APPROXIMATELY 2-3’.... I learned a lot of tricks over the years. Of course you will need a joist hanger to mount that heavy bag from Title. BUT ITS SO WORTH IT WHEN ITS DONE.
I’m so happy you wrote this message, I live for this kind of advice. I really want to hang it from the ceiling but also we have so much junk above our garage that it probably won’t hold. So maybe one day, also when I get some more money I’m going to look into that bag because my wrist have been hurting a little more recently. When I made these videos I was in exspierneced so I didn’t know how to punch but a year later I gained a lot more knowledge. Thank you for all your help it means a lot when you give advice to me as a beginner. Congrats on the new house, that’s an awesome accomplishment. Do you only box at home or do you also go to gym ?
When I filmed these videos, I was very very inexperienced, however I've been boxing every day since, so I'm at the gym, fighting all the time, it's just hard to show it, and I'm getting two surgeries, one tomorrow, and one in a couple months, so it's hard to film when I'm out for so long, have a good night

At a garage sale for 80 dollars, I wish I had one that you could work 360 degrees around but it’s like 2 grand. It would be cool if I could hang it to my ceiling but my walls are to weak lol

@@louyht7 idk for MMA I could see someone getting that but for boxing its just weird because it doesn't move and you have open shots with not needing to practice defense at all. I rather have bags that make you work on defense for that price. Ryan Garcia is coming out with a cobra bag that's going to be for sale in the next week or sale and that's going to be exspensive but not sure if i want to get it yet bc it will put a dent in the bank account😂

I can't wait to get my hand on Ryan Garcia cobra bag I hope it is as good as the one he using and yeah it's gonna be expensive I heard it cost around $300 and $479.99 for for the pro version. And I think you right about Bob century a lot of people using it are martial art practitioner like Taekwondo etc. I'm gonna get a heavy bag stand and Ryan Garcia cobra bag that's all i need lol.
