People going on about it being “a young city side” can only beat what’s in front of you. Absolutely fabulous result, Nicolas Kuhn seems to be coming into his own and some great finishes and the pass for Kyogo’s goal was first class. Well done Bhoys ✊🏻🍀

@@NevasoftHQ what is it with people and the board, they’ve run our club brilliantly over the last two decades. Spending more money doesn’t mean you’ll improve on a first team player, in fact, our best players over recent years have cost us pennies. Dembele, Jota, O’Riley, Kyogo and Maeda, the list is longer than that but just an example. And then there are those 5/6 mil ones who didn’t work out.

The board do a fantastic job . Professional management of the club finances and that’s why we continue to dominate domestically and prosper on and off the field .Barrowfield training ground looks to be coming along nicely. Compare that to the mob in the south sides woes 😂.

Look, to replace our first team players with better players you’d be looking at 12-15 mil for Maeda / Kyogo, 15-20 for Mcgregor, 30 mil for the likes of O’Riley… the list goes on. Even if we did have that spending power, players in that price bracket don’t want to come to Scotland, that’s just a fact. Never mind having to pay them £70,000 per week. Context, reality, our fan base are largely devoid of both 😂

Was good seeing Kasper making some belters of saves . Khun was superb and some of the passing was amazing hopefully they can take this into the first game of the season.
Only watched the highlights but Celtic look so sharp considering its pre season ,Kuhn looks like a completely different player, my goodness what's he going to do to the SPL and Jefte 😂

One of the best football matches ive watched in a long time... even if it was just a friendly. I really wish these two teams would play against one another more often. High quality football. So much more interesting than watching these two awesome teams play against rubbish teams in their farmers leagues. Fortunately we get to see them compete with good quality opponents in the UCL.

Decent result and performance against a half decent side
Great performance some beautiful passes and fast build up play was a joy to watch at times. City being a top side done sit back but we will get that for most of the season and we need to play the more technically gifted wide men on these occasions. Maeda done well at times but he won't be afforded that space to run past the wing back. It will be a low block and that requires technicians to put a pin point pass or cross on a plate for kyogo his movements unreal he deserves to be supplied with quality balls consistently throughout the game and at times it's only mor who is capable. Kuhn forrest palma all very capable in tighter areas against teams in Scotland who sit in. Looking forward to the CL this season some positive signs already 💚

Do we need as many players as we thought? After a year with them is Rodgers improving all of them. CB, LB and striker would do me.. Also a replacement for Oriley if goes.... We walk teague and I feel BR is preparing for a Europe run. A lot of players look so much better now settled imo....this team at half cock with new manager won a double last year. mind.
It was always these 4 positions that needed filled, so yes despite a result in a friendly we still need 3 to 4 first team players.

Celtic full strength playing their 4th pre season game.
Around the 60 minute mark, city took off Haaland and Grealish leaving just Ederson from the first team.
Celtic had a youth/reserve team for most of the second half 👍

I think Mickey Johnston has got inferiority complex with us . Think feels an impostor at club size celtic. I dont mean that bad for young guy it's just watch him away from celtic and he is a player just have look time down south there in championship a decent standard and he is smashing it down there . Man City had a pimarily young side,and still only lost 4-3. yet Celtic put out a really strong one, If Man City had done the same,may well have been another Madrid 6-0 ,Schmeichel is world class,and Hart was ok,but they only went to Celtic at the end of their careers,not the height !because they know that they are guaranteed at least 1 trophy every season.
