Hey, how is your experience studying law at lse? I’m a year 11 student who wants to study law there, but I don’t live in London, do you think it’s worth it?
im starting on tuesday too! ive talked to a lot of sixth formers in my school and they all say the transition is MASSIVE, but once youve adjusted its quite chill. you need to be on top on of your grammar (tenses and conjugation, irregular verbs, gendered words)
hey, I would completely 100% agree!! I would say the transition is completely different to GCSEs and overall a bit more serious and intense! However after you’ve got the hand of all the major changes it’s mainly just learning new grammar from there and you become nearly fluent. I am really glad I did it and honestly wish I continued! Good luck but I’m sure you’ve got this 🤍
I do both art and photography alevel, i would say they are similar in work load, especially with coursework and with both you have to find artists and respond to them. However i feel with photography you have a lot more freedom with what you could do (creating documentaries, videos, art pieces)
Im starting year 12 this year in September, im gonna take history, french and psychology. I wanna study history and french at university, but i don’t know what career i want. Im assuming I’ll figure it out after uni lmao 😅

i’m doing applied psychology! applied law and criminology! i prefer coursework that’s why i chose applied instead of alevel psychology. my teacher told me that in alevel psychology you’re writing essays on why things are wrong and having to prove that, whereas in applied you’re learning the ‘truth’. i’m not sure what he meant by that but yeah. i wanted to do politics instead of applied psychology but i really couldn’t do a 3 hour exam, hate them.
Hi Megha, from checking online it states that “chemistry, biology and either maths or physics (or both) will keep all the medical schools open to you.” hope this help!

if you want to do engineering, you can look into further maths if your school offers it, as it compliments both maths and physics. However you can also choose computer science as it also requires some skills you would use in maths. Hope this helps!
