A Canadian I just found Garron about a month ago. I’ve got all my friends watching. My Mom was from Scotland and the humour is close. We also have Newfoundlanders they all emigrated from Ireland and they are hilarious.

Aussie here and we have more than flat whites available. I used to drink flat whites but the sugars needed get bitter after a while.
So now I have affogato.
I scoop icecream, 1 shot of coffe which melts the icecream. FYI iceream never gets to the stage of tasting bitter!
I also ask for a little jug of cold milk on the side to keep it topped up as I drink.
Also love an iced mocha!

I was born American but my family is from Mayo. The same town of Garron. I get it. Spent many summers on the banks of Lough Conn. I would never make tea in the microwave. I still use a kettle but is electric and cordless. Lyon,s is my fav. Can’t get it here. The closest is Twillings Irish breakfast. Good and hearty with a spit of milk.

I clicked hoping Garron was preforming incense and peppermints by strawberry alarm clock.
i have witnessed US friends and their kid microwave their water. no kettle in the house so id to use the stove and a pot when i stayed there or do the hot water option on a Keurig which is never full boiled but its an option. its mental.

Americans I think MOSTLY use the microwave for tea, as we don't own kettles. Tbf, it's one of our lesser crimes against food.
Why dont you use electric kettles.
@verali164 I can only speak for myself, a kettle is another one purpose item that takes up room, whereas a microwave is multipurpose. Microwaved water is fine.

@verali164 A kettle is a physical object, so because it's not an imaginary thing, you have to put it somewhere.
