I was probably about 100 yards to your right in this video. Best race I've ever seen in person and going back in September to hopefully watch something similar happen again!
This was an awesome finish, it definitely reminded some fans of the first Cars movie. This was confirmed the third closest finish in NASCAR Cup Series history. Daniel Suarez beat Ryan Blaney by 0.003 seconds and Kyle Busch by 0.007 seconds. The second closest finish is Johnson/Boywer in the 2011 Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway, the first closest finish is Ricky Craven/Kurt Busch in the 2003 Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 at Darlington Raceway which both came in at 0.002 seconds.
Awesome video an Awesome seats 👍 Nothing like being at a NASCAR race 👍 to hear that SOUND when they take the Green flag it’s Awesome…… It does no justice to watch it on Tv, than being there to see how fast these cars go around the track ….. NASCAR fans are the best 👍✌️ Charlotte Dover Michigan 4 times Nascarnoodles Fort Erie 🇨🇦
Great video. The afterglow from the sunset and the sound of those engines was incredible. Looks like a good crowd, too. I am retired and living in the Philippines now, but I sure miss the sights and sounds of NASCAR. I hope to catch the 600 at Charlotte when I visit home in 2025. Great work!
Watching it on tv from (Australia) u know there going fast but its hard to actually appreciate how fast and hard and close they race but this clip giving me chills couldn't keep my eyes away..
It's been confirmed it's the third closest finish at 0.003 seconds behind Johnson/Boywer at 0.002 seconds in the 2011 Aaron's 499 at Talladega and Craven/Kurt Busch at 0.002 seconds in the 2003 Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 at Darlington.
My favorite part of the race was watching the field close together after the green flag drops. I wish we could see more old tire runs in nascar, the comers and goers, the old school through the fields.
This track is the closest thing to having old school Superspeedway racing. If the bunch up the field cautions would go away it would look more like 90s-2000s Daytona
This was supposed to be the finish last week but the drivers screwed up and caused a big wreck. NASCAR fans got worked just like in wrestling.😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂
Dang it! No FREE #8 Chicken Tenders special at Chedder's today (2/26)! But we do get 6 FREE wings at Buffalo Wild Wings today (2/26, 2-5pm) since Super Bowl went into overtime!
I hated it,great race, but how did my guy get so wrecked again by that Larson, everytime he gets near keslowski ,he wrecks him ,both races, purposely wrecking him,and brad was driving clean ,giving room going into turn,..3 wide nice finish
Same WWE finish every week. Bunch them up with stages and cautions, have several wrecks because no one can pass, and then have a side by side race at the finish. Sorry, but this is not what racing is supposed to be about. The best car (fastest / quickest) should win, not the luckiest. Might as well have sprint races and / or shorten a race's length. Why run 400 /500 miles, when only the last 10 laps really matter?
Every car in this picture, was in the draft before the 2 final yellows. They had a long run into it. I’m not a fan of stage racing, but this is literally what every lap looked like.
@@JacksRacingProjects Yes it did.. A good finish doesn’t make up for idiotic rules. In fact, you can say the finish was manufactured by stage racing. Phony. Stage racing sucks.
I was at the race, the entire race was great. Everyone left happy. The entire race was entertaining, are stage yellows annoying. Yes. But the entire race was great yesterday, from someone who sat at the track, and saw the faces of everyone watching.
They really let a lot go, all the yellows today were legit, they let it stay green several times with cars hitting the walls, flat tires, the 34 and 24 both crashing and we stayed green. Definitely not scripted from the seats.
Breath was absolutely held that last 5 laps. That was the best finish I have ever seen in person. What a race.
Great video! Kudos
Wow great video!!! An amazing race indeed
Great footage. Kept the camera steady throughout all that and got the perfect angle. Props to that. I wish I were there😢
We finally found the guy who needs to film Bigfoot!
@@tanker335I’ll start looking
Three abreast, awesome finish. Congrats to Suarez.
Feel good story.
Incredible video! I'll be rewatching this finish for the rest of my life!
You really get a great sense of how fast they truly go with videos like these. I feel like it doesn’t come across that way on TV. Great video!
So great to see people losing their minds!! NASCAR is great this year!
Man I love this track. They are FLYING
I was probably about 100 yards to your right in this video. Best race I've ever seen in person and going back in September to hopefully watch something similar happen again!
What a Great video! From the Stands I wanted to see what happened during those last laps
Glad you enjoyed!
I bet this was fun to watch in person
Absolutely, it’s been along time since I enjoyed a race that i wasn’t cheering for a friend.
So cool that you were there
This race was awesome. I loved the ending.
Worth it.
Wow! That was unreal, from down under. Also great camera work.
That sound tho!!! Wow. Amazing race, thanks for the video
The sound off of 4 bouncing off the stands. Man it was good
GREATEST finish in NASCAR history for sure, looking back at it a day later.
Ross Chastain finish is up there.
Darlington 2003 will forever be the best!
Great footage . I was in turn 4 yesterday .. Awesome !!
Reminds of a truck race 15~20 years ago - three wide finish. It was used in a NASCAR commercial.
I think Rick Crawford won that race.
I was at Daytona for the Hamlin Truex finish, this one would have been awesome to see in person.

Crowd was great, race was great, everything about the show they put on was great this year. Expect food and food prices. That’s still terrible.
This video captures the sound so well
Watching it on tv from (Australia) u know there going fast but its hard to actually appreciate how fast and hard and close they race but this clip giving me chills couldn't keep my eyes away..
goosebumps, wow!
Of all the Years I've Watched Car Racing Yesterday's Finished was a Super Deluxe Thriller even King Richard Petty would've loved it!
This finish has got to be top 3 all time in any sport
It's been confirmed it's the third closest finish at 0.003 seconds behind Johnson/Boywer at 0.002 seconds in the 2011 Aaron's 499 at Talladega and Craven/Kurt Busch at 0.002 seconds in the 2003 Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 at Darlington.
Thanks for sharing!!!
I just wish they would quit with the stages let them race
My favorite part of the race was watching the field close together after the green flag drops. I wish we could see more old tire runs in nascar, the comers and goers, the old school through the fields.

I love how quiet it gets before they fly by
Might want to turn off card at the end, covering the screen for finish.
Thnx
ive been going to nascar races since 1959 and the race at atlanta yesterday was the best race i have ever seen live on in person
I was at that same race and I got my own recording
Those stands should be packed full in September.
This was supposed to be the finish last week but the drivers screwed up and caused a big wreck. NASCAR fans got worked just like in wrestling.😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂
Short Dayton 500?
That was absolutely a great finish. I just wish that Rowdy would have won.
Cars movie finish
Bubba gave KB a chance---Toyota bond is strong
Gave him a massive shove. Watching those 2 fight through the field in the last stage was alot of fun.
3rd closest finish in CUP history
I d.w. would say high wide and handsome....
Dang it! No FREE #8 Chicken Tenders special at Chedder's today (2/26)!

Overall what did you think of the race
ill sum it up like this, i just bought my tickets for the fall on the way home.
I hated it,great race, but how did my guy get so wrecked again by that Larson, everytime he gets near keslowski ,he wrecks him ,both races, purposely wrecking him,and brad was driving clean ,giving room going into turn,..3 wide nice finish
what row were your seats?
248 I think?
Atlanta was always bad fast.
Now it is badder and faster.
it was the 2nd closest but still cool
3rd closest finish
2003 Darlington NASCAR Cup race, Ricky Craven and Kurt Busch finish was more exciting and a better photo finish.
I wasn’t there so I won’t comment. Tv broadcast was 10000% times better than Atlanta’s tho
crazy lol
Second place for Ford and they just got a upgrade on there cars ....😂😅hahaha
Go Chevy or stay home 🎉

Stage racing sucks.
It didn’t yesterday.
