Thanks for showing that Panoptix. Makes ice fishing so much easier. Takes out the guessing on whether there are any fish around or not. It's been literally over 20 years since I chipped through the ice. Would have loved a power auger and a Panoptix back then. The screen shows everything. It's amazing. I just moved up to NH and surrounded by lakes. Still haven't iced yet but when they do, I'll try to venture out there. Thanks to you guys for motivating me again. Loved the video and your channel. how would you compare the panoptix to a standard fishfinder. not a vexilar, but a proper fishfinder. I often bring my the prihanna maxDI from my kayak rig ice fishing. I found it to be pretty great once I got used to it compared to a vexilar
I even got a little desert! Whips out can of chew. I’m dying 😂😂😂

We have on of those Pan Optix and we love it! We put it in our boat this sommer and went to Missouri and fished suspended crappies and you could lose them and turn the trolling motor, (witch the pan optix was attached to) and you could find them again and cast and wack you’ll find yourself hooked up with 10-13 inch crappi

Love the panoptix vids , picked up one last year torwards the end the ice season was able to use it a few times absolutely love it. Had a blast locating and catching crappie with it.

Gills I don’t keep anything over 9. Crappies, I don’t keep anything over 12.5

Seeing that pile of huge crappies laying on the ice made me sick. Unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. No one should decimate a resource like that and get away with it.

I appreciate the fact that you let the huge ones go. I like catching the big ones, and every time I catch a huge one, I just would feel so guilty to kill them.
They are close to death so keeping them is not a major deal. Taking the young females is worse - they are the virulent egg producers.
