LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream lyrics & credits: Memories I can’t erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control I’m losing sight of me I’m losing sight of you I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will go on Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth Rendezvous, without emotion or heart I won’t show how weak and sad I am inside Even though I know it’s just silly pride Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I’m waiting for the dawn I’m waiting for the time I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on SOLO: miyako / midori / miyako / both Memories I can’t erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control I’m losing sight of me I’m losing sight of you I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will… You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I’m waiting for the dawn I’m waiting for the time I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: miyako & LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) album: Clockwork Immortality 12/05/2018 ---
there is no denying that these Ladies are friggin awesome....every time they release a new CD or EP, they raise the bar for anyone who tries to follow....luv them
Thanks for reacting. I thought you'd like this one. Now the "E" Trilogy is completed. Great catch on recognizing the riff of Michael Jackson's Beat it in this song. Miyako purposely put it in the song in that one of Miyako's guitar influences is Jennifer Batten. This is one of the few songs that has much prominent back ground singing with other members of the band, there a few other songs they do. Next I'd recommend Swan Son + Chopin Intro Live 2020, Shadowmaker (Live in Tokyo 2021) and When Destinies Align Live 2020 w/lyrics
Miyako's beautiful and haunting piano intro is Rachmaninoff's "Moment Musicaux Op. 16 No. 4 in E Minor". She has been classically-trained on the piano since the age of 3, and she is a virtuoso on BOTH the guitar and piano. As you have mentioned, that main riff in this song is derived from Michael Jackson's "Beat It". Jennifer Batten was MJ's session lead guitarist who performed with MJ on all 3 of his world tours in the '90s. Batten is one of Miyako's guitar influences and Miyako composed & arranged this track that included a derivation of that main riff as an homage to Batten.
They don't call Miyako ‘The Golden Touch’ for nothing ... A musician like her comes around the corner every few decades at best. ❤🔥🤘🏻 Congratulations on recognizing the ‘Beat It’ riff. Many may recognize it, but can't put their finger on it. A beautiful tribute, which they pay with this and make no secret of it. :) _____________________ _"America invented rock. England improved it. Yes, I love this song and I always love when Miyako plays the piano. As far as I know, the guitar work of Michael Jackson’s “Beat it” was originally played by Eddie Van Halen.
Yes, these ladies were five of a kind, plus new bassist Fami also some right special replacement. All of them just super talented. Awesome reaction bro.👍🤘
They are all capable of playing keyboards, albeit at different levels, but Miyako's level is outstanding. She once had a hard time deciding whether she should choose a career path as a classical pianist or a metal guitarist. Then one day she realized that when she was listening to classical music, there were elements of metal in it. Then she began to think that classical music and metal music are the same thing, and it became ridiculous that she had been worrying about it.
Since you are a lover of Metal music I'd strongly recommend these other Japanese songs, from my previous time of requesting HAGANE - 天下五剣 (Tengagoken) (Official Music Video) (th-cam.com/video/GhMamN_DBO4/w-d-xo.html) East Of Eden「Evolve Extended Version」Music Video (th-cam.com/video/gL2GQWhJaNQ/w-d-xo.html) Unlucky Morpheus「CADAVER ]「REVADAC」(th-cam.com/video/gxN3L2jrrEI/w-d-xo.html) Aldious - Luft (Music Video) ※Re-Upload (th-cam.com/video/-aRQnEuSTSc/w-d-xo.html) Mary's Blood - Starlight [English lyrics] (th-cam.com/video/NpQ3t1Ep0NQ/w-d-xo.html)
Miyako does a lot of the accompanying vocals. This one and Burden of Time has full on backing vocals. The latter is one you need to check out. Yes this one does sound like Beat it and also Back On The Road Again by REO Speedwagon
Great reaction. Miyako is the second singer of the band and harmonizes with Asami pretty much, but regretfully, unfortunately her vocals are suppressed in the mixing and hardly audible. Miyako covers Beat It BTW. th-cam.com/video/0nHbSTmZ4HI/w-d-xo.html
Nice reaction, I can't believe you got all the ballads already, here is a quick list of shreddy-thrashy bangers. Agree with you - we have to be grateful for and appreciate this band. The new standard for sure.
Metal queens forever!!!🤘🤘🤘🐺🐺🐺Queen Miyako is not from this world. She is an alien goddess and deserves a whole our world respect!
Love Lovebites 🐺🤘🏴
LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream lyrics & credits:
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
I’m losing sight of me
I’m losing sight of you
I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will go on
Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth
Rendezvous, without emotion or heart
I won’t show how weak and sad I am inside
Even though I know it’s just silly pride
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I’m waiting for the dawn
I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal,
so I can go on
SOLO: miyako / midori / miyako / both
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
I’m losing sight of me
I’m losing sight of you
I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will…
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I’m waiting for the dawn
I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal,
so I can go on

Miyako has an amazing voice, she could play any position in the band if she wanted. Fast catch on the Beat It riff! 🤘🐺🤘

Miyako is first deputy singer (and if you will, also first deputy sound guy, from what we know from the world tour). Never expect less!
Full band awesomeness, Vocals are just the Icing on the cake. 🍻
Couldn't agree more!
Love your insightful comments on what sets Lovebites apart. They are a true gift ... an inspiration!
