Dude, out of every JJK hype moment. This is it for me. This is the peak. Better hype than anything in the movie and season 1 for me. IMO megumi had the most growth curve in the story. Heâs overcome the most for some reason to me. And him busting out a domain at the stage he was inâĶ absolutely incredible
Agreed! This moment is still my favourite in the whole series and I love how slow and steady the buildup was and how it lead to this satisfying and epic conclusion!
Megumi is such an interesting character with really cool abilities and I wish the series would do more with him, especially this unhinged side of his and it's such a shame that Megumi is still so underrated and overshadowed imo when he could be so much more.

Agreed but only if we refer to the first impression. No other moment has impacted me more than this on the first impression, but unfortunately a lot of hype is lost after seeing it a couple of times because what is impressive is not knowing that a domain expansion is coming imo

One of the top 5 hype moments in JJK. Summoning a DE is usually something only Special grade sorcerers can do. Even most of the best Grade 1 sorcerers can't do it, and among those that could, the only one (so far in the manga) could only make a different low-budget version that's more utility-based than the offensive-based DEs typically seen from OP characters.

If you're referring low-budget as incomplete DE, I agree that Megumi so far is the only one. But if you're referring utility based, there're other people aside from him, like Higuruma and Hakari

What the comment was talking about was that even grade 1 sorcerers couldnt manifest their own domains and that even if megumiâs domain is incomplete, its an amazing feat for a sorcerer.
@@yasukiofficial1541 I never said Higuruma and Hakari's DE as imperfect. What I said was, Megumi is currently the only one whose DE still imperfect, and his imperfect DE, along with Higuruma and Hakari's, are the only ones who doesn't have literal auto-hit attack

no I think it has soemthing to do with Megumi's shadow ability... probably at some point in the manga, he'll evolve to do a reverse summoning that will bring back Sukuna full body.

He can bring Mahogara, which Sukuna himself said that without the 15 fingers he wouldn't have been able to beat. It's the strongest spirit but can't be controlled, and the moment it finishes the link the user dies. The only way Megumi would survive is if someone is strong enough to beat Mahogara, which happened to be Sukuna.

He was simply put into a state of suspended death because there was still one more subduer in the ritual- Haruta Shigemo, and so after the ritual was over, Megumi would have died. Sukuna saved him from this fate by using reverse cursed technique and only killing Shigeo AFTER he killed Mahogara.
