Ooh, it's nostalgic, one of the first Holo clips I saw was Subaru being mistakenly introduced as 'Matsuri' by Sora during a 3D live collab of sort (both of them had really adorable reaction to that mistake ww).
02:58 she laughed immediately after this, but man... it kinda hurts to see how difficult it is for Sora to just be 'one of the girls' for many of the members who understandably look up to her.
Well, she's basically the pioneer of Holo members, and she actually carried on even when her very first debut was so small on viewers. Not many people could actually deal with that kind of pressure (remind you Suisei even said once she felt like leaving some time ago). She does deserve that kind of respect, but I get what you mean about how that could also be perceived.
Anyway, that also speaks about how willing she is to embrace new generations and to interact with others which is also admirable and sweet.

In fact, Sora is always quite kind and approachable, even approach her kouhais herself, but alot of the girls freeze up and become extremely polite when talking to sora. Sora, like subaru mentioned, is like the equivalent of hololive existance, comparing with other gen0 is not a fair comparison.
Man I feel bad for Sora, the huge amount of respect everyone has for her unavoidably creates distance between her and the rest of Hololive and you can tell she wishes it wasn't there.

So in this case it means that Holomembers are _still_ overly careful around Sora due to her seniority, when it's clear to a lot of us viewers that there are no egg shells around her whatsoever and that Sora is just 'one of the girls' and wants to be treated as such. Subaru and Sora-chan collab in Minecraft at May was the first collab I watched when I was just into vtuber and I really have been waiting when they are gonna collab again together because their chemistry was just perfect at that time also cute and wholesome although Sora was kinda savage with words lmao. It was at that moment too I subscribed to Sora after Subaru took my first.
And I am so happy it's finally happen again and they're trying to be closer with each other. With 3 years preparation Subaru finally unlocked this route so I hope we will see more collab in the future also more arts for this seiso pair.

I think polka did a fairly good job when collab with sora recently, subaru's attempt this round is a good try too. During the sports festival, pekora also did her best to open herself up to sora.
I think Sora has done relatively frequent collabs with Azki actually. The problem here is that Azki is also relatively isolated from the rest of hololive because of Hololive's initial design for Inonaka music, so it was mostly Sora and Azki on their own.
Suisei is pretty casual to her compared to others. She was joking with her around their Alice in NY collab, when others were being too formal when Sora arranged their meeting that time

Man, when Sora did her (I think it was New Years) wishes, there were two things that really stuck out for me.
1 was collabs. She said she'd do more collabs, but she then erased it and said she was too busy and how she'd only do minecraft collabs.
2 was 750k. She said that she didn't think she'd go past 750k this year.
Well, for 1, I'm happy to see her doing collabs with more people after the sports festival event. Even if it took a while, I'm happy to see her doing things with others that isn't just another minecraft collab. Its nice to see Sora talk with the other members in which the other members are slowly getting more and more casual with her.
For 2, she's less than 1k away from 900k. A million isnn't looking likely but she's more than blown away her new years goal and that's something to be really excited about!
People also wanted her to do ASMR but she erased that XD. Sora certainly feels more casual for the last few months but I feel like we're going to have to wait until maybe next year before she starts getting interested in that. Although she has expressed interest in moving out which is another kind of shocker.

Would it be wrong to say that my first impression of Sora was "a normal girl"? This is probably the actual problem lol. No other 0 gen is treated like sora. Sora is... A normal girl. But shes like, hyper normal. Shes extremely pure and nice lol. This combined with her being the most senior makes her difficult to approach. Other girls in hololive dont have seniority issues because theyre big ol degenerates who quickly warm up to one another. They SHARE that degeneracy. Sora tho seems a lot sweeter and milder. Not even haachama or matsuri are seen as "normal girls" like sora is.
