Living in the illusion I see, the idea of peace and happiness quickly fades away when even the basic necessities are missing. Many cities have clean air, less population and ample opportunities I would rather be in that city than be in a remote village.
We are very much fortunate that we yet not suffering from water scarcity.We should save water and save earth!And kudos to those people who still kept smiles on their faces while facing this grim situation.May god fulfill all their needs🙏
Our country have progress gradually . But Ladakh and north east india have a lot of difficulty in infrastructure till now . So government should be taken effective act on this region . India has celebrates “Aazadi ke Amrit mahotsav” but it will be incomplete if India’s all states developed equally .
Thank you BBC to recover the news of real local problems in a high level region like Ladakh. I am in Himachal now and ready to head towards Ladakh in next some days. This time the climate of Manali and Lahul Spiti is also in very sad because of less snow in winter and not raining in recent weeks so the farmers are worrying much for their crops and fruits. Actually Himachal is a very green and huge water resources place but Ladakh has no more option if Himachal is suffering from less water and rain. I never seen such situation in last some decades of my experience with Himachal. Now the climate change is effecting more and more in different places nowadays so we have to rethink our lifestyle before late.

I think fog is not a common phenomenon in such dry and cold areas...
