Hi Bob, I saw that large turning radius, why not make the complete control surface all moving? Surely that would be more effective? When the sub is underway no one will notice that the whole rudder or rear dive-plane is moving.

How does the control system expel water from the ballast tank? Is there a cylinder of compressed air? Do you have to fill it with an air compressor, or do you install a cylinder which comes pre-charged with air?
Great job on the build....really good and authentic looking sub. Just curious, is there any way to install a small pin hole type camera into the build or would the camera gear be too big? Just curious, would be cook to watch from a monitor...seeing what the sub sees........again, great build.

That could certainly be done. For some, scale appearance is more important than performance. This was a choice by the owner.

There is no way to get wireless video when underwater. Submerged video requires a tether or buoy.
