I dub 1984-1992 the Golden Age of Michael Jackson, cuz he was at the peak of his career . Thriller was the biggest selling album ever, Bad was the most anticipated album ever, and Dangerous was the most expensive and fastest selling album at that point. Even tho there were pesky tabloids, the furthest they did was just call MJ weird and odd. As soon as we hit 1993, the Dark Age begins
I would say MJ’s golden era began in 1983 into summer of 1993. It was a good 10 year solid run even with all the snarky petty tabloid news. But the S really hit the fan in late summer into early fall of 1993 !!! Sadly the backlash & the hatred & the venom that was Unleashed towards poor MJ was the kind we never witness in living memory !!! It was heartbreaking & cruel to treat man like a criminal when wasn’t even Formally charged with any crime. But I have always believed in MJ innocence & always will. MJ was a beautiful pure soul !!! I will love him forever !!!
@@ST-nz4bf MJ’s golden era started when Billie Jean topped the charts and when he became the first black artist with a heavy rotation video on MTV in March 1983.
1979-1984 was his Coming of Age era, in my opinion. 1993-1997 was actually pretty good even with the allegations. History was a pretty good album, and the tour outsold Bad’s Tour I think.

To me this was his greatest year spiritually. This was the end of his pursuit to try and out do Thriller. He was long behind the days of trying to isolate his career from The Jackson 5. He was in his prime to just be creative. Dangerous to me was his most spiritually free body of work from the album, to the videos, to the tour, they all were magnificent. He was able to bask in all of his success and just be free to pursue all of his life dreams with no pressure. He broke free, and was at a level many artists WISHED they could achieve. He was at an all time high. Let’s also talk about the marketing roll out campaign as well just superb. He has the entire world on edge for a year straight. Right before the accusations 🥲.
1992...the last normal year for him before the Chandlers came out. It's honestly kind of sad to watch this and knowing Michael had no idea his life would be crushed and have a stigma around him till the day he died.
💯 also because MJ was going to change the world by awakening everyone Spiritually, socially, politically !! That why we got the 1993 Accusations against him!! It was way to tarnish his image & dismantle this global movement imo !! It hurts me deeply to this day !! 😔💔😭

What a disgrace. Thank you for putting together this video. The transition, the sounds, the effects, the content, you did a great work as usual! 1992... yes, I was there at the Dangerous show in Stockholm. Also around this time MC Hammer and Bobby Brown were supposed to be the new Michael Jackson 😄😄 I always felt that this was a tough era for Michael, despite all his success he seemed very sad most of the time. It was far from the happy joyful and energetic Bad era.
Why was it tough yes his album wasn’t as Thriller but still MJ created new sound etc and Stockholm shows were great to and I wish that it would had been released!!!! Also Alex Why won’t you accept that MJ changed his music over years??
Michael wasn’t always happy in the Bad era though. Despite the success of the Bad tour, he was dealing with anorexia and felt really lonely. He said it on the tapes. I actually think he looked way more happy in the beginning of the Dangerous era before the allegations than during the Bad era. He seemed way more relaxed and he wasn’t trying to outsold himself anymore. Just making music and acting you know. His prime was gone and he was just riding on the waves of his success. Don’t get me wrong, he was happy on the Bad Tour ON STAGE: but I think it was different off stage.. and anyways Michael just always seemed sad overall. Too much happened to him :(

Strange how the media stories about him just kept getting worse and worse after he signed with Sony and aquired a publishing catalogue valued at almost one billion dollars. When a star became a superstar, or in any way became a threat to the music industry and it's executives, (like Michael Jackson, Janet, Whitney, George Michael, Mariah Carey, and Britney Spears), they seemed to get a relentless onslaught of scandals, humiliations, arrests, and under-promoted albums that only stopped after their loss of credibility, negotiating power, sobriety, sanity, or life.

I think MJs Dangerous is Michael best and Musically mature album. It’s grossly underrated even though it his his album that has aged the best over the years.
Invincible aged the best
Dangerous was never ever underrated
Dangerous is his best album and was a big hit on global scale back then.
It was never ever UNDERRATED! The Videos for Black Or White, Remember the Time, Jam, In the Closet, Heal THE WORLD, got heavy airplay on MTV, BET, Vh1, and FOX
@@tyliekinc. I’m saying in today’s culture when casuals talk about MJ, the speak of Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad. The hardcore fans knows dangerous isn’t underrated.
This man is why many come out of DEPRESSION
For sure-this man can turn any negative feeling you have into something positive, wonderful and powerful. That’s the magic in Michael Jackson
I am for sure one of them. Mike was my medication lol.
@@beautifulibra true true .so true

You wrong ! It’s why MJ got sunk into demon sad empty unforeseen circumstances world off no way out ! He try to run to the Arabs for help
But no escaping The high powerful Elites who run the world
14:36 A smile that reflects a pure genuine soul ♥
1992 was a very distinctive year in Michael career. That's actually the year I've became a fan too. Was still playing Moonwalker on Sega, Remember the time BTS was playing on heavy rotation on MTV and I was mesmerized by Naomi Campbell's beauty in ITC video.
Won't even talk about the bullying. What a disgrace.
Thank you for putting together this video. The transition, the sounds, the effects, the content, you did a great work as usual!
It had such a nostalgic, almost bittersweet taste, but it brought back so many memories. You translated well the whole aura of that year.
Again, thanks for your work. Michael was a blessing to this earth, his work, his life and legacy shouldn't go unnoticed by the next generation.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed watching ✨
Michael was chosen by God and he was being used by the holy spirit. You can tell by his dowing with pure heart. He did everything he was singing. He didn't deserve that treatment bit always down to earth. RIP MJ
92 was my best year. Finished exams and had summer to just stand outside the dorchester annoying the man or sleeping on the turnstiles of wembley to make sure I was near the front.
Which date Were you in Wembley Stadium 1992😁and How was to see MJ LIVE that year
@@wilmmerwest3876 I was lucky enough to see all the dangerous uk shows. Though my friends did a lot more in europe. Dangerous was by far the most exciting for me as I saw bad once but was miles at the back. Dangerous after the 1st night we slept overnight on the steps to make sure we were front. 31st was the best Wembley show as the temperature was a brilliant summer day and it was my first time front row. I was 3rd the night before. The same the rest but the weather turned bad. Also did the same for history but because we had wristbands we could stay outside the hotel. Not that there was much point as he didn't really play at the windows because a main road was between the fans and hotel.
@@Longislandteaboy Would you be happy if someone leaks the jumbotron verisons on BAD,DANGEROUS,HISTORY and also Did you thought at July 1997 it would be MJ last performance in Wembley stadium at the time and I want to know all the dates you went to:)
@@wilmmerwest3876 History he only did 3 nights at wembley. I'm gonna be honest it didn't have the same impact as dangerous. There was a barrier which divided the crowd to avoid crushing. But at wembley after a couple hundred got through they closed it. So whilst yes were at the front the excitement of the crowd was behind the barrier behind us. And Michael definitely didn't like that. So many time you could see him looking at huge empty gaps thinking wtf?
@@wilmmerwest3876 and omg yes would love the jumbotron footage. I'm on there a few times during scream and heal the world when it was shown at back of the stage screen.
That Dangerous tour was an incredible experience! I was 10 years old at the time, watching in Wembley stadium.
Damn I bet that was incredible. I was 7, dangerous was the album that really get into Michael's music since i wasn't alive for thriller and too young for Bad to make an impact. I love all his albums now, but Dangerous is special for me
Man, journalists and the press were so envious of him, and his success!
Love the "Dangerous" album♥♥
God bless him always.
This man's impact on the world is immeasurable. He is truly the greatest. 👑
I’m so glad I’m old enough to have seen mj at his peak.... I remember being so happy in 89 when he was awarded performer of the decade.... he really is the king of pop ..... nobody can top him even to this day 💯
Ive waited years for this
1992 was a roller coaster ride for Michael Jackson, I cannot imagine how he handled all of that, so much pressure to deliver as a talent.
I found this channel by chance, as someone who Michael defined my childhood…I’m extremely appreciative of you painstakingly piecing it all together 🙏🏾
Thank you! Enjoy many hours of my videos ✨
@@thedetail. Thank you sir.
The only star that could go to any nation and the people young and old would go crazy for him!
1992... yes, I was there at the Dangerous show in Stockholm. Also around this time MC Hammer and Bobby Brown were supposed to be the new Michael Jackson 😄😄 I always felt that this was a tough era for Michael, despite all his success he seemed very sad most of the time. It was far from the happy joyful and energetic Bad era.
HA It's never gonna happen anyway. They are not on Michael's level.
Too much happened to him :(
@@bibibobo8723Having been shocked at how skinny he was since I saw his Disney special in about 1980/81 when I was 5, and now knowing he would stop eating and have to go into the hospital, I’ve always been shocked that then and now people almost never bring up the fact that he had anorexia. I’ve been shocked to constantly see the look of it constantly in the videos on YouTibe and yet you almost never saw him looking anorexically skinny in the things the media chose to show on tv. I don’t know why they didn’t talk about, considering all the other things they Sacrilegiously talked negatively about like his skin disorder and being abused and exploited as a child
nothing compares to you! sweet and beautiful Michael Jackson
1992 is the last year before the madness happened smh....God Bless you MJ
January- July are the last great months before it went dark next month.
When elites saw he was getting older didn’t want him to age or get bigger in weight so having MJ stay as a legend makes industry more money
On top of being a great entertainer he was also a great human being, the amount he did for charities worldwide is astonishing.
I love watching these years in review! There is so much info I haven’t seen before. I like pausing and reading the newspaper articles that are shown too. Do some more please :)
For me, the best entertainer ever and no other artists gives me the same overall goosebumps like MJ.
if Michael was to be still alive and in his 30's i'm sure he'd give a lot of help in covid times, be it medication, food, and continue to spread his message of love and hope, you tube will be crashed millions of viewers on MJ's channel in just a matter of a month or two, he'd still be no.1 in people's hearts, he'd still be the top artist and performer do concerts with the bestest technology, others just follow, jealous rivals hate that and will continue to hate
YALL LISTEN….THIS!!!!! Was his last GREAT year. The man had so much that ruined his life after this and the commercial at the end made me cry because it was COMPLETELY a full circle moment that man was GREAT
15:52 this always breaks my heart
Ugh me too 🥺
The year he became a really commited humanitarian. His light was a blessing for millions who had a difficult life. It’s interesting that it was the same year that Princess Diana started her humanitarian engagement with many public speeches and travels to countries in need at the same time.
The Only Man in History can just Stand Still and poses for a good amount a Minutes in a Concert and the Fans still goes ape shit crazy that’s how you know how Powerful Micheal is
The Dangerous Tour is for me the tour of an unprecedented genius and divine artist on this earth !!! L.O.V.E
Thank you so much for this amazing content! I couldn't wait for the continuation of the Year in Review series! You deserve all the best, likewise Mike!
Thank you so much!
Ahí esta el detalle,es increíble que Michael crea la fundación Heal The World y de ahí en adelante empezaron a perseguirlo hasta la fecha que lo asesinaron. INOCENTE POR SIEMPRE!!!
They trashed his name so bad in the press in the u.s. but also criticized him for not touring in the u.s. so weird you don’t like him but running to his shows
So true 👏
Awww I'm so scared of 1993....its going to break my heart.....the press psychologically killed this man long before his actual death in 2009. RIP The GOAT
It's been over 12 years ago since the legendary the king of pop have been gone from us Michael Joseph Jackson fans around the world altogether including Australia altogether here we miss you R.I.P king of pop you will always will be remembered the time
I was at the Glasgow, Scotland show of the Dangerous Tour. Best night of my life, what a show. He was phenomenal 💜💜
I love the year in review, keep it coming! It’s quite depressing, however, to relive all the negative press this man was forced to suffer. I remember all of it but it stings to see it again. How disgustingly unfair the media was, I hate them for it.
Thanks for sharing Michael Jackson Dangerous awesome. Michael the best entertainer ever ♥️
It's was soo cool that MTV air behind the scenes of Dangerous Era during opening night.
Always giving to the needy .Never will there be such a kind soul like him
Thank you so much detail for sharing of mj's life i always watching your vlog about mj.
This is the Video I been waiting 1992 Micheal Jackson Rule this year from January-December with his Dangerous album ruling the charts and His Major concerts, Hell the first concert I turn in live was his Bucharest one and my god it was Epic and I was just 2 years old at the time and I remember that like it was yesterday
great video. you are putting out some awesome content and you get some great footage. the ending young & older MJ "I'll Be There" is really touching
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
The ending was so eerie!!! The duet he had with his younger self was so profound on so many levels.
Another brilliant year in review. Keep up the good work.
The military jacket that MJ is wearing at 14:29 is a Royal Danish Lifeguard's.
That was so beautiful!!! I love every second of this!!!
Thank you!!

Michael is the best that is why others compare themselves to him because he is the best you are not gonna compare yourself with someone okay or good you are gonna compare yourself to the best no one will ever take his thrown and he is the king I love him so much I cry sometime because I will never ever meet him I was born too late he died when I was 4 and I really hate that really I do I hate my generation and all you need to do is wave your arm around and your famous. I was 6 years old when Remember the Time came out… never forgotten it. I still remember doing the dance break with my sister.
Just shows that they really do build you up then attempt to tear you down.
I’m already thinking we shouldn’t make 1993 year in review😔
I went to the Dangerous tour in the Netherlands!!!I was 10 years old then, it was amazing!!!!!!!
