The guitarist (Brian May) actually does sing this as a tribute to Freddie. If you just search for Love Of My Life - Brian May singing, you'll get it. The crowd also sings for Freddie in that version and Freddie's mom was at the show so it was very emotional.

Yes sweet girl- we all love Freddie! What a voice! What a beautiful man!! I’m almost 70 and he calms my days- sings for me everyday-. He was a kind human being. True to his friends and family!♥️♥️
it is beautiful...and he was singing for someone in particular. makes me cry since I watched a documentary about him and Queen. see if u can find a bio about Freddie"s own love of his life, Mary. he said in an interview, that he could never love a man in the same way he loved Mary. that she was the only one who he could ever have such deep feelings for... when he passed away in 1991, he left the largest portion of his estate to Mary, including moñey and a beautiful home, too which she and her 2 sons live in even to this very day...

This was written by freddie about his wife. He was married to his girl before he realized he was a gay man. They were best friends until freddie died and he left her a big fortune.He always said she was the love of his of his life and it hurt him so much that he hurt her but she supported him and looked after him when he was sick and dieing from Aids. He was one of the biggest stars to die from it. His memorial concert in wembley was huge with many legends playing. George michael did a great version of somebody to love.

I saw Queen in 2006. Paul Rodgers from Bad Company was singing that night. But when it came to this song, Brian May came out on the catwalk with a microphone and an acoustic guitar and soloed it in honor of Freddy. It was one of the most beautiful and powerful moments I've been lucky enough to witness.

In recent concerts, guitarist Brian always sings Love Of My Life on classical guitar and audiences. I recommend looking for a live version with multiple views and reacting to it, you won't regret it. Sometimes Brian was even moved 😢❤️
