I taught Steve Malcolm in the 9th Grade at Ruseas high. He didn't give any problems and tried in class even though he came from a junior secondary school at the time. This was around 1985. He wasn't in the team yet. He made the team the following yr 1986 when Lincoln Stewart left. I left at the end of 1986 to work elsewhere.
Peter Cargill I met in the late 1980's too. There was a match at Frome Sports Complex between Reno FC and Harbour View FC . Peter Cargill completely dominated the midfield with Andrew Bower Hinds anchoring the defence. I cant even rem any other of the guys on the Harbor View team except them 2. An Israeli coach once remarked that if Peter Cargil had a bit more speed he would be one of the best midfielders in the world. His lack of speed I think prevented him from reaching the highest level. May their souls continue to rest in peace.
If you "THOUGHT " him when you should have TAUGHT him. I see why there was such thought about him lol 😆 😂 🤣
