Those dutch sure know how to do it (kind of justifies happy hardcore, doesn't it?). I sort of remember having a conversation with a friend about piezoelectricity back before any of us even knew the term actually existed (let alone the technology). She wanted to buy up a bunch of old Nintendo power pads and splice them together to create a power producing dancefloor. How should I go about macgyvering together a working prototype like this?
this is basically a prototype in action: watch?v=RCOBA3Yfm1k&feature=related it's mindblowing the places we can find energy, even more so the advances in technology to utilize wasted energy... it's a lot to take in for sure
probably if you have a full house you can generate enogh energy, but it would have a step generator... I think if you have people dancing in rithm you would have much amplitude but low frequency, but who developed this probably know what he is doing
Weighing costs against benefits is important. If that concern makes Chriswaterguy "sound like a republican", then he is representing the republicans well.
This is the recovery of energy that would otherwise go to waste. If they were normal floors, the vibrations would have absorbed into the floor and into the foundation. If there was a cheap and easy way to recover all wasted energy/heat the world would be so much better off. Cars put out waste heat through their radiators; light bulbs (even CFLs) put out wasted heat. So no, this isn't free energy...
The last example is stupid. The tram needs more energy to drive, because the rail will giving way, if it is made of piezzo elements. Knowing that you will waste energy at every conversion you make, it is an stupid example. Indeed the first example is a good one.
What a brilliant concept! This is the kind of thinking we need to evolve a better Humanity. Keep moving forward!

Abraço no coração🙌🙌🙌🙌
i cant belive that there are ppl who takes this idea seriously living on this earth!!??
THIS IS THE WAY...
I had the same idea 10 years ago,but with car on the street,so they could make electricity for lamps on the street!
wow Awesome! :D I wish i had this in my country ^^
nothing new but about time. the earth is expanding and contracting 1 meter per day. what a pressure and energy source would this be!
God, I love innovation.
hey pretty cool idea
wow what an idea
you could produce enough energy to light a ..........LED
so cool!
wonderful idea ;)
nice proyect! :D
The only problem would be if the music isn't that good and doesn't make us move.
The Future Baby!
Aim for more emissions, because the planet needs it!
Carbon Pollution is not bad, it's good!

u r incredolous indeed!
very nice yet hope u can find away to concentraite it enough for a club whould be quite good!

porfavor necesitoo el nombre de la cancion ,, please i need the name of the song
How much embedded energy (from building the system) versus how much output? It strikes me as a gimmick.
great :)

What song is this?
whats the tune in the background?
what is the name of that song!?
what is the price of this floor
I am 9 years late sorry.
But for a 6×6 flor it costs 250.000 dollars
ahaha nice response :)
Haha, watch out, AmbulanceX is gonna patent it before you do!

nice idea: human hand as tree bark ... (why that of a man's though and not of a woman?)
yea, theres no Trams where im from. everyone drives drunk home and kills people.
great video though.
LOL ... to generate piezo-effect it only needs to move a fraction of milimeter

too bad you need a LOT of vibration to power something like a night club.
Just whack on some gabber and boom got yourself a power plant
@RushDrum99 hahaahhaha
Wouldn't it be funded by Toyota ..... would sound better to me.
architects don't do shit but make it look pretty. Why do they get credit? i don't understand.

No doi. Perpetual motion or bust.
