there is/was also an animated tv show starring John Cena and Kat Dennings "Dallas & Robo" about trucking in space as well.

It is a good way to chill after a long day for sure. Been playing after work since it released. The 5,000 dollar debt had me a bit stressed with the bank holding my rig over my head but i managed to become debt free after grinding a few loads. It really makes you think whats the best way to maximize efficiency and optimize your rig.. love it

this is exactly what i was thinking when i saw this game lol
As a big snowrunner fan this is right up my alley
Really enjoyable game. I appreciated the way they let you tinker with the different game settings so, for example, I have set the crash and cargo damage to max but the fuel/power cell consumption to low as I enjoy uninterrupted driving with more of a challenge/penalty if I mess up. My only gripe is I wish there were vertical thrusters to move up and down as when docking or trying to align with a loose cargo you really miss that extra functionality.
Edit: It would be nice to have an upgrade that lets you recharge empty batteries as you drive too!
I did exactly as you did! Even with consumption to low, I feel like I spend all my time changing batteries😅
Interesting you mentioned Cowboy Bebop, because they did have an episode concerning space truckers, LOL!
I gave this a whirl yesterday when it came out. Was having a jolly old time until it was time to dock and I couldn't figure it out but now in your video I see how to do it. I'll give it another go.
I played this for a bit today and got to the first dock, when the CB chatter started, I found myself thinking Scarlet is going to rage over this, having watched your Hardspace Ship Breaker review from years back. TBH I was a little sad to not hear it. But glad the radio is good.
My first thought was that it reminded me of the Cowboy Bebop Universe with the jump gates and the feel of it. I'm loving it so far.

As someone who plays Star Citizen just to be a "space trucker" Star trucker looks like it was made for me.
I'm at the point where I am thinking of, what am I striving for? Is there property to buy? Can I make my own fleet like ATS? Doubtful. Add "friends" who ask me to do a space walk in a dangerous electrical storm sector to clean graffiti, and it's taking a nosedive

Yesterday played that game and i feel like 2-3 delivers i can manage in dat game. Im not big fan of deliver trucks. But i like space and his aroundings.

Game looks cool, and very well done but it's one of those games that, to me, seems to have no point. What I mean is, ok, you get money for deliverying stuff. But the only thing you use the money for is to make your truck better. Then its basically the same thing over and over again. You go from point a to point b and buy new supplies you run out of. I can see this being fun for a couple of hours but after that.......... And to be honest, all that backing up to load and unload things would get old real quick.
So, its not that its a bad game to me. Its maybe some subjects or professions dont need to be made into games because there is just not much there to do.
I can't get more than 7 minutes before it crashes.
Love the game but the controls currently are clunky (especially in reverse) and the "recommend" setting for the game is a massive grind fest for filters and batteries
Personally, I haven’t had that issue. Typically after a main mission I’ll go to the scrap yard or whatever it’s called and just take what I can. Then go out to a shop, sell whatever I have no use for and just buy as many batteries as I can and keep them in stock! I’m playing on the recommended difficulty though. I know there is a custom difficulty and a lot of people are saying they play with it lowered. I personally like how it’s set up just because it makes it feel like it has more to it. Definitely get why people wouldn’t like it though!

Do i have to keep buying cells? or is there a way to charge them ?
that's the thing i really don't like about the game. you can't recharge the cells and you have to swap them too often
@@Desmazio start a new game and use custom settings, and set battery usage to low, batteries drain way to quick

The 1st docking onto a station went well for myself, but then my 1st cargo floating in space pissed me off so bad i deleted it.

I kept forgetting about the oxygen power and just kept passing out lol The highways idk why are incredibly hard for me to follow aswell. Still fun though might try again later.
At least in ETS/ATS, part of the charm is seeing what they've done with familiar locations. Also, does your truck have enough "oomph" to make it up that hilly route with a heavy load, or will taking it cause you to be late? This is just a bunch of space assets arranged in different ways and with different colors with no bearing on anything. And it seems like all you do is fight with the batteries powering vital systems that are just a consumable. What? They've never heard of rechargable batteries in the future??
