Heard that Colindale Gardens -1 room flat, rent around $650 pounds per month but the service charge is $200 pounds per month, which ate 1/3 of Landlord's income. Is it correct?
Hello David, it is not correct. First, you won’t be able to rent a one bed in Colindale garden for £650 (I assume you mean GBP :) The current (Covid) rent is around £1300. Service charge is £3.2 per sq ft - so an average one bed e.g. 500 Sq ft would make it £133 per month. Hope it helps ☺️

Ya, David, unfortunately £650 won't get us much these days in London Zone 4, properly can only rent a room (instead of the entire flat) 🙈

Service Charge £3.2 per sq ft per year. No ground rent. Heating Charge £330 per year. There is no standard increase per year- depending on the spending but from the history of this development, it is around +/- 5%. Thank you very much.
