I didn't change any sensitivity settings. Is it happening in one game or all? I know in Star Wars you need to make big circles with the controller when you first turn it on to calibrate it.
I have several questions.. I have a hyperspin pc set up by arcade-one That has xbox 360s controls as default... My first question is will this work with out any configurations? My second question will this this work a raspberry pi 4? Any information will highly appreciated Thanks
@DarthMarino ty ill look at my home depot does it come that way or did you have to make that design sorry to be a pain just after spending 200 on yoke can't afford to order the 100 thing to mount it on lol
Would love to know the settings you used in MAME. Did you set the input device to mouse or joystick? Did you leave the default analog settings for each game, or adjust them?
I’ve had some pretty good luck with my GRS yoke, but Star Wars is giving me trouble. The reticule’s default position is is alway on the lower left half of the screen and I can’t seem to get it to default to the middle. Any ideas?
That just uses a normal steering wheel without a vertical axis. You can certainly use this instead of a steering wheel but it doesn't add any additional controls for the driving.
Hi Darth can you help me with something simple please? I am looking to buy SD cards of specific games I need for my modded original Nintendo Wii. =) I got games that are hacks that I really would love to play. I have no computer or knowledge about this stuff. I'm a game player =)
Your Chanel is gold for the videogame history
This controller also works well for Chase H.Q.
What sensitivity settings do you have it at?? Mine just moves around all wonky. I can't seem to focus on anything with any form of precision.

@@DarthMarino huh. Mine didn't prompt me to. I had to go into the menu and set it up like a controller.
ROAD BLASTER, BABY!

Sorry, I've never used Hyperspin or a rasberry pi.
Can you tell me where I can get a metal bracket like that just ordered my yoke ty
Home Depot

It comes as a flat piece that needs to be bent into shape and cut. @@angelobattaglia3458

Joystick and I left the analog settings.
I've wanted to do this exact thing for myself. What version of Mame/Rom set are you using for Star Wars?
I usually just use the latest version of MAME.

I know with Star Wars when you turn it on, its not centered but if you make big circles around the edge of the screen a few times, it should center.
@@DarthMarino thanks - I’ll try that!
Mine is coming very soon. Thanks for the video and you can guess what I got it for.
Hopefully not Space Encounters.
How do you think this would fair with gun games that had a fixed gun like Operation Wolf?
It will certainly function but might just be a little more work if you constantly shoot opposite ends of the screen.
Do you know if this would work on a Nintendo 64 emulator for say Starfox 64?
It can definitely function but keep in my it only has 4 buttons on the grips.
How do you manage to change the controls around for games like paperboy, Ive not been able to sort it yet?
Not sure I understand the question. I just mapped the handles to vertical axis and the yoke rotation to the horizontal axis.
@@DarthMarino I figured it out just now. Holding the K8 button for 10 secs inverts the controls
@@ticmike You can always press tab and go to analog controls and reverse an axis.
@@DarthMarino good to know, thanks. I've subbed to your channel it looks great
hi can explain how to configure in mame?
It's just like setting up any other analog stick. Just map it to the analog X and Y inputs and don't map anything to the digital x/y inc/dec
@@DarthMarino in star wars on mame i have death zone in the center of screen, i need change setting for this?
@@olivierniclausse1791 I would turn off the dead zone and when you start Star Wars, make big circles around the edges of the screen.
Work with road blasters?

@@DarthMarino I meant as this is digital right? Will it work with games that used analog?
@@XxBoxerman74xX No, this controller is analog for both X and Y axis.

I never knew I wanted a controller like this, until now
