With a little help from British Airways colleagues across our airline and a few familiar faces, this five-minute film shines a light on everything that makes Britain unique and truly original, whilst keeping you safe in the skies.

The flight attendant (Sima) from 00:15 to 00:25 looked after me on my LHR-SFO flight in January 2023. She helped make it one of the best flights I've ever been on.
I can see that she has now been edited out of a newer version of the safety briefing video. I hope that she is well and still with BA.
They made both safety videos at the same time, just different crew for the new uniforms.
The synthesis of Doctor Who and aviation is a powerful combination and a dream come true. If anyone can advise, it is the Doctor.

Brilliant with subtle British humour. Love the bit where the lady says "take nothing with you" and then grabs some chips. Oh, and the ending where sheep are crossing the country lane...genius.

great to have all these celebs but is this video as effective as the likes of JALs one on the A350? is it clear and concise? not really......

If we’re being honest the original animated safety video was the best, it was iconic and truly BA style. The airline is trying too hard to be so called “modern”

British Airways sounds like a really nice airline to fly with. I have not flew with them since I was 16 back in the Summer of 2004, from Baltimore to London. I think I hear London 🇬🇧 calling my name to come back for a visit. The vast majority of British people I have come across while in London a while back, were very friendly and welcoming.

Hate to say this but it is far too long , no one will watch that all the way through before they become distracted, which really defeats the objective .

That's the very first reason I'd like to visit the UK... BA's safety videos.
Don't visit anytime except for the summer, or you'll be greeted with non stop rain and hypothermia. Also, STAY AWAY FROM LONDON! One of the most OVERRATED cities of all time. There's rain EVERY WHERE. Police are absolutely rubbish and are no help, citizens are mostly rude which just a handful who are welcoming.. Final thing, never use a public bathroom. Ever.
I think this video tries too hard to be progressive. Not British at all.

This is unfortunately not as good as previous ones, music selection is also quite boring in my opinion.
Chaotic, too many different shots and trying to be too hard to be ‘hip,’ what is wrong with just doing a classy safety video. I’ll be honest, no one is going to take any of the safety advice given in this video due to the aforementioned reasons
Exactly. compare this one to JAL's one on the A350 that crashed 2/1/24. JAL undoubtedly played a part in saving everyone's life on the A350 with their serious video. Can't guarantee the same of this one........

I agree... a safety video should be succinct, to the point and clear. The aim is to pass on safety critical information not entertain people. Saying that, most people don't pay attention anyway...

I think I slightly prefer this one to the 2024 version! I love Jane Austen/Edwardian/Downton Abbey as much as anyone, but this one actually feels properly British. At least, I certainly don't feel like Jane Eyre stuck in economy on an 11 hr flight haha...xD

I dislike "entertaining" safety videos. I want it short, sweet, and to the point. I would rather be entertained by the music I was listening to when interrupted by the needlessly long and over-produced safety video.

Very well paced, being funny but also very precise, where #Airfrance safety is being diluted.
I may be flighing British Airlines this August with my mom and I can't wait for the trip we'll the only thing i don't like about the trip is being at the airports by 3 am est

In my view the video is far beyond its purpose, tried too hard to impress that the goal is lost
It's modern and fresh. A dull video is far less likely to draw attention. Think about the country's favourite adverts. They're all memorable -- and that is what a safety video needs to be. The instructions are also very clear and direct. Not sure what you were watching.

After all these years, BA has now updated its safety video!
I've flown with British Airways once again 2 months ago after 3 years of hell during the Covid Pandemic from London Heathrow to New York John F Kennedy and back and the new safety video was great to watch. Seeing Robert Peston, Emma Radacanu, Tom Kerridge and Sir Lenny Henry was a joy to watch in the video.
Loved it!👏 great mix of celebrities, staff and public showcasing an entertaining modern take to aviation safety videos ❤

same like Malaysia Airlines safety video, trying too hard to look “hips” and “cool”. so horrible to watch and and it’s also had a lot of things going on-very messy & chaotic, I prefer more straightforward and minimalise safety video.
