He's doing better than what 99% of other people would do. Beat the ever living shit out of him the moment they find what this piece of trash has done. But yea, I love the quiet, suppressed rage. The cast of this show is absolutely phenomenal.

Hell yes. It's what I love so much about the scene. Suppressed rage from such an otherwise gentle and compassionate person really communicates much more the horrorifying actions of the disgusting piece of shit Reid is threatening, than if Reid flew at him and beat him to a pulp the way most people would want to do.

Reid is the perfect match for the unsubs with mental illnesses like hers, honestly.
He can see what their mentality is and how crushed it's or what their illness has done to their mind and he can empathize and work with it in a different way from the rest of his team thanks to his experience with his mother. I bet that's why they so easily trust him, he knows how to treat them well.

The episode with Frankie Muniz was equally tragic. S3E10, I think.
He was having psychotic breaks; in which he was killing the gangbangers that raped & murdered his fiancée, & nearly gutted him & left him for dead.
Excellent episode, but very sad as well. Frankie played the part perfectly.

She couldn't help herself. I also believe that DR. Reid should destroy her father using the full power of the FBI! And that courts should have the power of forcing surgical castration on convicted child predators!

There’s so much I love about this episode and especially these scenes. Of course, how Reid was so badass. But did you also see how Rossi was closely watching the exchange, how he instantly caught on and joined in. The utter elation on Samantha’s face when she was about to see her friends when she thought they were gone forever. The bittersweet ending. And even that officer who was about to handcuff Samantha… maybe I’m reading too much into it but I think when Reid stopped him and he saw how he interacted with Samantha… his expression seemed to change into something thoughtful, with a realization that even the criminals who have done something horrific might not be bad people.
