    This is beautiful chant. I am so sorry that this film was overlooked at the oscars. It had so many nominations and this was one of them. Congratulations to everyone who worked on it. Your stories will be told!!

    Indigenous music always gives me chills, but this song made me cry uncontrollably. I hope it takes the Oscar. Its about time our country started celebrating the TRUE People of this land! Will you be at the Gathering in April? See you there...

    Beautiful and powerful song. Thank you for representing our culture in a positive and strong way. I was disappointed in the results of the Oscars. Was hoping Lillie would get best actress. Blessings to all the Osage people.

    Proud to hear the song and to see the singers. I wish we would be allowed to be as pure as we once were. Watching the singers in suits hurts my eyes. Love the song.

      I learned the word from the movie. I wish I could understand everything 😢 so many stories that haven't been heard by everyone. I think everyone, especially in America should be required to learn extensively about the indigenous, their culture & history. My heart breaks for all the injustices. We should all be honoring & learning the truth

      You obviously don't need to know if you don't get the spirit of the haunting drums sounding their curse to you. Ask the performers if you must.

      @@LizBond-oq2hg Well, I hope they aren't cursing me, I've never done anything to them.

      @LizBond-oq2hg 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@alanleiker1742 There are many videos of this performance now. The name in English is "Song for My People" and in their Osage language. Ask them if you're so interested. If you live in America (I don't) you should ask/contact their local community. It could be a curse given the story.

    • @RonJacksonToahani
      @RonJacksonToahani 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      They are not cursing anyone. This sing is about feeling positive and thanking Mother Earth and Creator for keeping the Indigenous peoples culture alive and thriving. Now being heard around the world.
