"The joker's wild started as 2 pilot-episodes in 1968 & 1969 before landing on cbs-daytime from 1972-1975 it was the 1977-1986 syndicated-version that made the joker's wild popular".
I have some more ideas to your game: did you know that the red lights on the contestant podiums flash along with the set's chase lights? The podium lights are usually turned off but usually the lights on either podium would light up to tell which player is a taking a spin and after the host introduces the categories the contestants would be playing with in the game the podium scoreboards would turn on in addition to the challenger's podium being lit up. So remember that the challenger podium is on the left and the champion is on the right. Also the chase lights around the slot machine's windows would stay off until you pick a category and if a Joker pops up on a window then its chase lights would turn on. And also during the Face the Devil round, the chase lights on the 3 windows would stay on and also the lights that illuminated inside the plexiglass pole of the bonus round lever would stay on just like the other lights that go up to the 3 windows and after the wheels have stopped spinning all the lights including the lever would turn off. And also the white base that supports the lever also has light bulbs that light up with the ones in the lever's plexiglass pole. I found those things on different episodes of "The Joker's Wild" that I see on TH-cam. And also during the audience game, during the second stage where the winning audience member plays Face the Devil, the lights that go from the bonus round lever to the three windows don't light up like in the regular bonus round. And more more thing, the show didn't use the Face the Devil's Lucky $100 money cards when it became a syndicated series in 1977. And the dollar amounts used in the bonus round had a much bigger font. Do you get that?
1:22, I like how you did the stuck slide, just like what really happens on the show.
Jack never referenced how the Devil looked just like him :)
Bill Cullen noticed that.
"Good-show john-ricci 89 bravo splendid job on the joker's-wild jack-barry & dan-enright will be proud of you".
I remember when that devil used to give me the nightmares since I was only 2 years old
Same here. The devil from this show and Grumpy the T-Rex from Land of the Lost scared me when I was a little kid.
