First game: enemies could shoot, hit, and even kill each other. Second game: rancor phases through second rancor into the sky to grab you with an instakill attack.

To anyone who tries this boss. The force parry thing that you can buy with skill points is a MUST HAVE for this fight. It literally saved me so many times during the fight. This is how I did it. Took me like 5 or 6 tries to get it down. I also noticed that even though they can both move at once only one of them actually attacks you at a time. Just keep backing up and attacking after each one attacks. Also, light saber throws.
Also this one at a time mechanic makes it actually easier to fight two than one imo since you can more easily get space since there’s a slight “activation” delay and one of them rarely does consecutive attacks when there’s both. I think one part of the move set that is super useful against Rancors is the normal jump attack. It's fast even on the cross guard stance and is perfect for hitting the Rancor's head when they are in a neutral position when a grounded attack wouldn't hit their body. You can use that move to get an extra hit or a safe punish when most attacks would be a bad idea. Did this with the crossguard I actually liked this better than the oggdo fight they take so long to recover from their attacks you just wait for them to both attack and hit them with one hold x heavy attack and you can block 4 attacks of everything except the foot stomps and unblockables also the fortitude perk is good for doing extra damage you do take extra damage but you basically heal after every hit anyways so it doesn't make a difference to you.
If you play on GM, equip the perk that lets you do but also take more damage. The taking more damage part makes no difference against the oneshot move and I found that attacks that do not oneshot you, won't do it even with the perk equipped (and you need to heal after getting hit anyways). Also equip the one that gives you extra damage on lightsaber throws and maybe even the one that gives you damage after using force attacks or after switching lightsaber stance. The longer the fight takes, the higher the risk of f'ing up a crucial dodge, so glass cannon build is the way to go.

@@christrapgames4963 Me too, like I know I suck at video games, but they gotta change the hit box on that move, it’s basically not dodge-able and it’s not really fair especially playing on a medium difficulty

jump is the answer to most unforgiving attacks
These two would absolutely destroy every souls boss

@@Ldenlord its funny i watch zanny play souls games and he does better on them than i ever could (although i havent really tried) but i atch him do this and wonder how i struggled so much less, i had no issues with this fight or the oggdos for that matter but i couldnt beat dagans 3rd fight to save my life
Did this with the crossguard I actually liked this better than the oggdo fight they take so long to recover from their attacks you just wait for them to both attack and hit them with one hold x heavy attack and you can block 4 attacks of everything except the foot stomps and unblockables also the fortitude perk is good for doing extra damage you do take extra damage but you basically heal after every hit anyways so it doesn't make a difference to you.
I like it how it's canon Cal died a bunch of time fighting the rancors in a force vision
this fight was actual hell
All that for one skill point
That dive attack was the bane of my existence when I first fought the rancor. I had no idea they did this….
he can't keep getting away with it
Poor Zanny I feel for you, bro, that was tough to watch. Took me back to old bosses I couldn’t beat as a kid
In a bad mood the whole stream because of this bossfight.
Zanny : I'MMMM BEETTTERRRRR !!!!
Homelander : Maybe just a wind
I love how I can skip to a random part of this video and witness zanny about to start the force tear and he’s contemplating life
3:16 angriest I've ever heard him, not even a close race.
The toughest boss in the this game is the s***** camera...
I love how these guys and the frogs apparently dont count as "major fauna" for Confusion.
This was the one time I straight up said, "Nope." Controllers are too expensive for me to wear another one down. Vader killed my purple one. After the fight the camera stick just decided to constantly spin in circles. Double Rancor, too? No. No thank you. Nope. Nuh uh. No way. The arena is too small, you can't mind trick them, there's nothing to throw, and they can clip through each other so you have no chance of dodging half their ONE SHOT attacks.
Kuddos to Zanny. The double oggdos was at least hard but fair.
This and the double Frogs are the only bosses I badly struggled with, I got so ecstatic when I finally got these rancors
I love that he did it. I mean you could see he was really in pain

They embraced the Elden Ring approach and just O&S -ed every enemy
When I jumped into the tear for the first time, I INSTANTLY switched that bitch to Story difficulty. No way I was doing this to myself 😂
I was just litterally using fortitude, with the crossguard and the double blade, using double blade for the most part and using vortex dive, and slowing down, and using the heavy crossguard attacks, I thought it was going to be hard but it only took me 2 attempts lmao XD 💀💀💀

I cannot believe homie beat these bosses bc the moment I stopped having fun and started getting salty af I woulda head out
