The Mario Convention is actually the true turning point of SMG4 as it exceeded our expectations in the beginning of the Arcs. Honestly when Meggy sacrificed herself to save Mario as a T Pose Zombie shit got so very real.
Call me edgy, but I like SMG4's sense of humor. Other than the rape of course. Even the gay jokes are kinda funny sometimes (no offense). The suicide jokes made me crack up because of how it comes out of nowhere.

SMG4 had made a huge impact on how far they came with several new series and spin off creating Godlike content for us to watch. So bizzare I started in 2017 three years ago and a lot of emotional moments i experienced with SMG4.

Some of them stuck around for a while and you'll occasionally see them as a cameo in a video or two. For SMG3 though, again, I'm certain SMG4 just made him up.

I don't miss the randomness. What made SMG4's early videos (2011, 2012, 2013) so good was the creative ideas, Characters and concepts using Super Mario 64. The randomness was also good then too. Because it came from out of nowhere and it didn't overstay it's welcome for too long. Once 2014 hit though the randomness became extremely predictable and dull to watch. Especially when they would drag jokes on. 2015 and 2016 did improve upon the faults of 2014. But that period didn't last long as 2017 just became more of the same.
Well Kevin you know... that dark humor smg4 was really funny and awesome to watch! But i feel that in those days this kind of humor is not so appreciated. I loved the old smg4 and i still love the new smg4👍 Never change my dear hobos.
