Few games offer an antagonistic co-op experience quite like Pico Park. It'll turn anyone toxic if they play it long enough, especially in a large group...
Even more so when they get to the "do not press" level. I don't think I've ever seen an 8 person group pass that without any toxicity.
Try watching Vanossgaming and his friends play this. They HATED each other after a few levels.

The vibe I get with Ame is that as salty/toxic as she looks like when she is playing by herself/without VC, she doesn't really seem to be the kind of person who likes to stand out when in a group.
It's the "I don't mind losing as a team as long as it's not my fault" mentality.

Now that I think of it, the whole "calm during collabs" and "toxic when alone" is probably what draws the investigators to her like a moth to a blowtorch. The duality of Ame paints a wholistic picture that many introverts can relate to.

She has been practicing for a while even: her New Year promise to respect moms, her attempts at not swearing, etc. Even if she slips some _fuuuuuck!_ sometime, it's usually later during long streams and less on Minecraft/family-friendly titles, she more than once expressed concerns she could be a "bad" example for the kids watching her streams and how she tries to keep her composure.
She will still dish out at chat, at randoms on CSGO/Valorant/OW/etc, at Gura when they're both teasing each others, but she will hold her toxicity and "charge up" whenever the other people involved are not ready to receive it.
That's how she could remain calm and composed through endless hours of troubleshooting and fixing VR stuff for Kiara's live performance, even more than Ina, who's a top tier patience person (look at her isp troubles, most people would have lost it long ago) - even the priestess eventually felt exhausted by the whole ordeal.
Ame got that _Rage Storage_ perk: gains an additional 200% storage space for rage containment. But once it's full, watch out for the storm!

simple and great game, where we can see uncle dad start off as being more hopeful and cheerful, and see her in the end being very tense and antagonistic towards kronii's meatball marinara subway sub.
