Nope, it hasn't so far. However, I haven't used it consistently. I bring it out sometimes for when I want a lighter shoulder bag with my outfit. I think as long as you don't throw it around or place it on the ground, it should be fine.

Hi there! That’s a great question. Unfortunately, no there’s not a way to detach the buckle part, the ends keep it in place.
Turn the bag around to wear on the left shoulder. Does it matter that the zipper will be on the outside ?
