- The Bible talks about a time when a strong delusion will sweep across the world and all those who rejected the truth and had pleasure in unrighteousness will be deceived and enter into eternal damnation. The Great Apostasy is something that the Apostle Paul warns us about and its about to come upon us. As we get closer and closer to the return of Christ we will see more and more false teachers arising. The church world is going to be overwhelmed by false teachers. Prosperity preachers like Joyce Meyer, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Steven Furtick and Benny Hinn are going to spread like gangrene in the church world. So many people are going to be deceived by these false teachers and one of the reasons why is because they don't love the Word of God, they love unrighteousness instead.

I agree, apostasy is a sure end times sign amongst other things. It's very hard to find a church which uncompromisingly preaches the true gospel.

I left my church after the new pastor took over when I found out his wife was a pastor.
When I wanted to talk to him about it he shon me, so i left.
I am so thankful I belong to a Bible believing church. Who preaches straight from scripture. The Gospel, sin, Godly sorrow, regeneration. All the decons too. Great teachers ! Best church I ever belonged to. Pastor is unfire!

I was wondering that too this morning. False Christianity is on the rise globally. Only the Holy Spirit can open the hearts and eyes of the lost.

My life has done a 180, since I was born-again, so I feel that is evidence of a true conversion; but I think we all question our salvation from time to time. The Bible does tell us to test ourselves to see that we are in the faith.

I believe you may be right, and the evidence is not so much the false teachers themselves but rather the multiple millions of people who claim to be Christians who enthusiastically enable the clearly false teachers.

Repentance is not turning away from every sin you’ve done, and then come to Jesus, you cannot trust in the sinner you can only trust in the savior. One can only be saved from sin after the trust in Jesus, not before

But dare you asking anyone of the church leadership, if they can demonstrate that they are not 'false teachers' and you are touching 'God's anointed'. And it can become very frustrating to experience this in church after church. The choice is then either falling for that folly and cooperating with the false teachings or people just dropping church altogether. A win-win situation for the dark side.

American churches are nothing more than social groups that teach Goats false doctrine. The Goats love it. It's why they go. They want their ears tickled. The Goats even have their own Gospel with No repentance required.

We are all told to go out and preach the word and do God's work, yet most Christians don't even know the Bible but are confident they are on the right side of truth. Any carnal person acts like this. Some are more suspicious though, but they then are 'too critical' and 'judgmental'. Not fit for the social club with some fin. interest. In the end they try to collect some potential donors around them and grow that number of people. Now that's a business model like a pyramid scheme. But is that NT-ecclesia. What are they teaching? It may resemble the bible, but is it the gospel? I think the issue is the lacking of the Holy Spirit there? Is this about 'the will of man (women included)? Or is it about the will of God?
Are people really freed from sin and walk in the Spirit? Or are they just cultivating the carnality? That's the questions that need to be answered... But I think most don't dare to ask them. Always think that the others will know what's best. And that 'Christians won't lie to them'.
It is becoming soo difficult for a true Christian to share the truth of GOD'S WORD as the the world begins to believe a lie for the truth..
The WORD of GOD has been the compass for all as a measuring of out life..
However that truth is now been turned and is turning upside down as the bible has for warned..

For centuries scholors have disagreements on the meaning of scripture or even the meaning of greek or Hebrew words, yet so many of you are so sure you speak and know the truth that you are willing to stand before Jesus and be judged by the measure you judge others. Don't be surprised if you find yourself on the wrong side of the truth.

I was confronted by a confused church member trying to twist the word and got angry when I corrected him with the BIble.
You know, when I first came to God, I was introduced to four different churches. The pastors either called themselves prophets or apostles. Then, they taught prosperity preaching. My spirit kept telling me that something was wrong, and so I started reading the scriptures myself. Now, whenever I go to another pastor, if he, or she teaches about money, I instantly want to leave. Good teaching as always. I think I’m going to read my Bible by myself rather than going to any of these popular churches down here in Maryland.
That’s what my family is doing, we have learned so much more than in our entire lives. Things not taught in the church, also got out of all the wrong things taught.
Unfortunately false teachers were already infiltrating the early Christian congregation even before the last apostles died Acts 20 vs 29,30; so that is almost 2 thousand years of apostasy, hence the bad rap Christianity has with some of the things people have done in the name of God!

I'm glad I'm not alone in seeing this. When the Lord graciously opened my eyes in 2017/18, it was apparent how bad the apostacy was, and I wondered even then if we are witnessing the beginnings of the great falling away.
Even then....you say....🤔.....this end time period could last for many years until Final end comes, we do not know how long will take

I also put church and church leaders in the Apostasy that teach all you have to do is say and prayer and that's it! No call to seek God, no call to obidience
No call for repentance and no explanations what repentance is and how to repent
My problem is that they tell you to say the prayer, and then they say that God is not allowed to come to the earth because Satan is the God of it.
So many Christians in churches that are blissfully ignorant. I have warned my sister but she thinks I am very wrong.
It's a famine of God's Word. I say this (still with some shame) from personal experience. I called myself born-again for 25 years, even though I almost never read the bible. AND SO, I was greatly deceived. For a while, I watched Ken and Gloria Copeland, Joyce Meyer, and others until I finally landed on only watching Joseph Prince (6 of 1, right?). Thanks to the enormous deception of 2020 when I was on my knees pleading with God to show me TRUTH, I FINALLY picked up my bible and read it all. A (willful!) famine of God's Word is the reason so very many people are fooled. That book is the only truth mankind has, we either read it or we're deceived. EXCELLENT point that if people don't withstand false teachers now, they'll never be able to withstand the antichrist.
Brother you and are one of the same. Until I went to prison and actually started to read the word for myself, after awhile I realized I was being deceived. I watched Joyce myer Joel Osteen creflo dollar and one of my favorites was prince. Through in John haggle sprinkle in TD Jake's. I was being deceived for a long time. Thanks to the Holy Spirit.

Unfortunately the charismatics who have infiltrated our church use that verse to say that WE deny the power of God since we aren’t seeking signs, wonders, healing, etc.

I am concerned that many in the charismatic movement might actually be fulfilling Jesus’ words in Mat 24:24 “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” And we know that the False Prophet of the antiChrist will deceive people by the signs and the wonders that he performs, so I am concerned that people in the charismatic movement may end up thinking the signs he does are of God.
Wow, thank you for this teaching! The Lord in his mercy opened my eyes to the deception of these false teachings and few years ago and I am feeling the urgency of warning loved ones to come out from this, but it’s clear that the Lord is the one who has to remove the deception off of people, we can only share the truth of God’s Word

I was under the delusion. I bought in to all the worldly teachings of the Bible, despite knowing i was twisting things. I was under the delusion for years, thinking i was doing the right thing and pleasing God.
I would probably still be there if my family werent so militant in my Christian upbringing, I started to see all the signs of revelations that i was told to watch out for and that broke my delusion and I ran after God
False teachers are on the rise. Ask the Lord to give wisdom and discernment to identify the perpetrators.

I mean, on the miracle front, it depends on what sort of miracle they claim. I was blind. Physically, 100% Uvietis blind with my retinas bleeding. God literally regenerated my retinas. How do I know? My doctor told me. He was agnostic at best, and at the checkup, we were both expecting to say to me I had less than 48 hours before my eyesight literally went black due to the damage from the hemorrhaging. Instead, his words exactly, "I don't understand. This can't be right. I have it here in my notes. Your eyes were bleeding. There should at least be scarring. Your retinas belong to a newborn. There is no age to them at all." Totally freaked my doctor out. No idea if he converted, but I met his nurse that was in the room at a bible study years later, so I hope it impacted him too.
Why was I healed? No idea really. I went through survivors guilt for years as I had a coworker who was blind and I could not understand why God would heal me when this person was a far better man in my opinion. Decades later I can say I do have an answer. Does anyone remember where Jesus says, "What is harder to say, "Rise up and walk or your sins are forgiven."" God has shown me over the years that the most exciting miracle is the transforming of my heart day by day as I walk in His grace. Today I accept that God healed me because he wanted to, and he wanted me to remind people He is the same yesterday, today and forever. That said, I can also say the greatest miracle is Christ's sacrifice on the cross and the opportunity to commune with His holy spirit living in me on a daily basis.

Was your eyesight restored right after being prayed for by a faith healer, or did God just respond to the prayers of yours and many of your friends and family? I am wondering because I have seen God do many miracles of the later kind… but have not seen convincing proof of someone with the “gift of healing” performing a miracle. Either way, tho, so thankful to hear your testimony and that you now have sight; celebrating the miracle-healing power of God with you!!!!
When i see auditoria full of people cheering for the sinful ideas of a false teacher like Olsteen etc, my heart feels great sorrow for these people as they have been so badly led astray.
I have never felt that the earth is so close to the return of Christ, as I do now. As faithful Christians we need to remember to look up!

A solid church OUGHT to preach:salvation,sanctification, young earth creationism, Bible Prophecy, the perfect inerrancy of Scripture (originals and copies),the Triunity of God the Lord, and the Deity and humanity of our Saviour and Creator and God Jesus Christ.

A big part of it. The consumer attitude towards church means a 'feed me' attitude rather than "feed on god's word." Some may need educating , yet we can all educate ourselves.
I have heard gospel singers glorying in the fact that the original composers of this emotive meaningless music could not read... I have heard people seriously arguing that churches should no longer proclaim the word and study the Bible because it discriminates against dyslexics and foreigners without English. People are asked to name favourite verses from the Bible they do so often incorrectly and with no idea of where it comes from. Psalms are treated like magic spells and totally self centered and exalting man not God. There has never been a more biblically illiterate generation that would rather sing songs all day about an ethnic God and a sexualised Jesus..

Thankyou, for your insight. Yes we were years ago deceived by a number of them. Although I got healed 25 years ago, while watching Marilyn Hickey, she said , she feels led to pray for those with shoulder problems, I placed my hand on my shoulder, at that moment the pain stopped and never had an issue with it ever since. I was unable to sleep from the pain of a tissue tear for months, praise the Lord. The tragedy is most started out right, Joyce Meyer taught me so much when she started out and blessed me a lot with her teachings, however she fell into the trap of greed also, a pity! Now sadly these young people who have no idea about God's truth, nor care for take snippet's from 1 or the other of these old greedy graspers, and preach it as gospel to ignorant multitudes. The 30 pieces of are more alluring than the fear of God, tragically!

"Continuence," and faith, as opposed to "repentance, and faith," is being preached for the most part as a rule, it appears. Points well taken. Well said. Agreed.
People preach on love. And while we are supposed to love over enemies. There is a difference between biblical love and worldly love. They come at it from the worldly love. While biblical love is rejoicing in truth and not in iniquity.
One reason why there are so many false teachers is that good pastors are not warning their people. Paul warned for years. We have some weak teachings from many.
But good pastors then.

The big problem is that people are losing the fear of our King Jesus Christ. So many people
are illiterate of the scriptures, so they believe anything and everything that is said by weak
pastors. Pastors, instead of preaching the gospel and the consequences of living in sin,
they preach how to be liked by the world. More pastors need to move people as the deciples did when they preached. People were ignited with spiritual fire to obey and
follow Christ till death. Leaving the ways of the world to those who belong to the world.

We are called to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Instead, we put our security and salvation in the hands of prosperity gospel teachers whose only god is money. They say what we want to hear and make no effort to expose the evil that they see all around. Good is bad, and bad is good. Men are women now, and women are men. Even God is a woman now. How absolutely horrible it will be for those false teachers in the end. Sadder still will be the end of those who followed these blasphemous teachings because it tickled their ears.

Wow, Praise God. Now pray God direct you in a sound doctrine church that fears God. After years, I found a good church….a small Bible Chapel Church. It’s conservative, but solid in teaching. No entertaining tickle ears type doctrine. 2 Timothy 3:16 ❤🙏

Yes, and the normalization of prophets who give false prophecies (not requiring prophets to have 100% of their words come true), sexual immorality of pastors and leaders, social justice gospel, deniers of the inspiration of the Word of God, church service designed for entertainment - it has taken me several years to find a good church and your list helped me remember why that was!

yes today is very very very last day，people around me can do anything just for money. Money is king in my society. 😢
That's because money rules thier hearts. I have the same problem. My boss wanted me to be dishonest to our customers. At first I ignored him and carried doing my job as it should be done. Months later he asked me have you done what i told you to do. Immediately i told him don't ask me to steel for you otherwise get someone else to this job. He never spoke about it again.
I have been there two year's and i am leaving 2024 in the summer.

2020 seen political prophets rise/now we’re seeing wars and rumors of war.
The day is now. The delusion is already in the world gathering man/mankind into a unity that first existed at Babel. The Greek word 'apostasia' in 2 Thess 2 is better translated as rebellion. And Paul is speaking here about the rebellion of the world - 'those who are perishing'. It is the resurrected rebellion which was at Babel.

Yes, like Calvinist Pastors teaching/preaching: Only an arbitrary pre-chosen elect will irresistibly turn to Christ, consequently all others have been pre-ordained to destruction by God's divine decree.

Have had the opportunity to lead many out of Calvinism & towards biblical soteriology. Besides other erroneous teachings: Anti-trinitarianism, Speaking in tongues is THE evidence of one's salvation, Baptismal-Regeneration, etc..

Saying a prayer is it doesn’t mean you go to heaven, but if your prayer is saying God, I believe in your son, I’m trusting in your son alone for my salvation. Thank you for saving me on the cross and resurrecting the third day if that’s what you believe then yes you are saved. It’s so easy to get saved. It’s saying to God that I believe what you did is true that’s why the apostle Paulsaid I know in whom I have believed that’s it. It’s just believed.
I think part of the problem is that so much of the American church has been convinced of a pre-tribulation rapture; most seem to be unaware of the scripture that was read at the end in 2 Thess 2:1-4, where Paul makes it quite clear that the second coming of Jesus and the rapture happen the same day, and that day will not come until the apostasy and the antiChrist (man of sin) is revealed first. I fear much of the church will be caught off guard and will not have prepared themselves to go through the tribulation.

Fyi I also ve been following an sda church channel; I learned that they pointed to the papacy as the antichrist figure in the Bible. Let's see if you might agree with such theory since I am pretty amazed by their deep understanding of interpreting the Bible in detail.
Or perhaps you could debunking sda's theory or teachings particularly about the Last days should you have different points of view.
I still keep learning about Biblical Truth, and I take greater pleasures spending my time learning from bible teachers like you than from the majority of preachers on local churches. (Also in Indonesia where I'm at now)

" It is important to first define “contemplative prayer.” Contemplative prayer is not just “contemplating while you pray.” The Bible instructs us to pray with our minds (1 Corinthians 14:15), so, clearly, prayer does involve contemplation. However, praying with your mind is not what “contemplative prayer” has come to mean. Contemplative prayer has slowly increased in practice and popularity along with the rise of the emerging church movement-a movement which embraces many unscriptural ideas and practices. Contemplative prayer is one such practice.
Contemplative prayer begins with “centering prayer,” a meditative practice where the practitioner focuses on a word and repeats that word over and over for the duration of the exercise. The purpose is to clear one’s mind of outside concerns so that God’s voice may be more easily heard. After the centering prayer, the practitioner is to sit still, listen for direct guidance from God, and feel His presence.
