I bought iPhones and Samsung Galaxies from Amazon in past, but no more. I now go to the nearest official outlet in malls or Croma or Reliance Digital and buy them from there. I have stopped shopping electronics from Amazon because of such policies. Peace of mind is more important than the home delivery facility.

If they do this I might get the electronic device from offline store in the first place. If I have to go to a store then why take the risk of damage product .😅

Recently, I received a defective laptop for which amazon scheduled a visit from technician. My only mistake was, I gave OTP of service to that technician over the call because he promised that device was indeed defective and he'd get it replaced, why bother coming to my house. Voila, he never came, nor I could connect to amazon customer care.
Nah .. They do if you reach out to Customer Care service. Now, we(Customer) can't Docket return/refund complaints, but Amazon helpline will help you through. i got a refund without any hassle.

This a really painful, i ordered a jbl soundbar from fk and it was defective, even after getting a rejection mail from jbl that we cant provide replacement for any defective product purchased from other Flatforms , i was left with no option then going for a repair on my second day of purchase, + yesterday I was looking for some puma jackets and amazon has come up with replacement policy only, means no refund will be given if u didn't like the fitting of the product, that is scary and we should rather shift our focus to offline marktes
