Another gem. When you get these brothers that are this age and have been through the things that they have and are still able to speak with authority and conviction, can’t do anything but appreciate it.
For some people, but it don't apply to all people. Mainly because the rest don't give a care about respect for and or to everybody. That person really know who I'm talking to...->😐🤨 matter fact speaking of that one person,- that sound very familiar after all of these years huh? 🤨 Since '2016!
@KevMacVideos funny thing is I know cutes brothers. Jimel introduced me to mouse .and Rusty use to hang with my cousins...Rusty got jokes, my cousin use to say here comes my slopp cousin and Rusty would bust out laughing then pass the joint...we was real cool with one another...I can still see that big grin on his face. Rusty was cool....when cutes first came on the Kev Mac videos, I ask an triple og blood and crip about him...cutes was the real deal..they said it with respect...
Kev you really have mastered the art of interviewing. Not hating on Bubs but I sure do wish you got that Hoover interview. Keep up the great work I appreciate you!
Bubz is the right person to do it. He is well spoken, and Kev mac want be able to get those answers from The Hooverz. Go to T.S. interview and you do the comparison. And I love Kev Mac interviewing skills as well.
We’re all out of line for one reason or another, and I think everyone agrees Jimel was out of line. What Jimmy is addressing is mental illness. He was attempting to convey to the audience that Jimel was already legally mentally ill when he made those statements implicating more than just Tookie, but also saying Tookie never met Raymond and He bought Tookie on from Compton in 1979. lol I have a keen interest in this due to the fact 4 years ago the audience scolded Cutes and I for going at Jimel. I immediately deleted the video and matured responsibly. Now 4-5 years later people who got their influence from me are going down that same road it’s not a good look and I already did it. At some point we need to grow up.
@@KevMacVideos that’s wassup unc I dig it I didn’t kno jimel had mental illness clearly something is right so why would his daughter or whoever that is put him in front of a camera
I'm glad I saw this. Joining the crips would be like siding against our friends the bounty hunters, piru and the walnuts.....plus Raymond was hated by mean din and Ghost...and we differ with what they were doing...Had the went a different path and wasn't hurting the community I believe Bobby would have considered it.....
I love hearing from Mr Lavender. But I'd love more to hear OG Bird confirm or deny that he was asking permission to see his girlfriend lol Weren't even cell phones then. And Big Monson gives all the respect to OG Bird. Big Kev Mac is the keeper of history.
I'm Byrd he was talking too through the interview. Linda is Auntie and she was married BoneHead the president of the Deacons. Anyone 70 and up out Watts can about BoneHead and how Bluff he was!!!
I responded to her saying. Q 102 and other Eastside crips fought us at some park after a bishop jumped some one, she said it was motto and Raymond fighting us...I said many times that the bishop leadership never fought the crip leadership.....She said that's when the shooting started. The shooting started way before bishop...I truly believe she's speaking of another set and got it mixed up....nothing to blow up after.
I remember a video about some Twins from your HOOD who was also Body Builders. I think they said the only thing Tookie and I guess Cutes ,Jamile use to do when they saw them was strike a Pose or Flex and that was as far as the BANGING would go but everyone else they d KNOCC OUT😂
I can feel Mr Lavenders pain in watching the divisions come into the community. They say "division is weakness"....i cant think of anyone who has proved that fact more than LA gang culture, yall fragmented the community by areas and streets and corners and lanes and alleys....and all weve seen is nearly 50 years of failure
After personally speaking with Bird from "Slausons" in regards to the statement made as to "having to get an okay" from the "Deacons" in order to enter the neighborhood across the tracks is totally and chronologically untrue according to Bird. First off, he stated that the "Deacons" were a much later group to come along. The group in that area that functioned at the same period of the "Slausons" were known as "Sin Town." And, that particular name was actually derived from "Sin Street." Sin Street is a name that Bird created for 73rd Street between Central Avenue & Hooper Avenue. The name still stands to this day. And from there Sin Town was also taken to Pomona. But, the original is from "Sin Street 73rd." So, it was "Sin Town" east of the railroad tracks, and the group on the west side of the tracks was known as "Dry Gulch County." Secondly, Bird stated that no one from any section had to have an okay or permission to go anywhere. Either you went or you just didn't go. He said that he had already whooped a couple of dudes from across the tracks (Sin Town), so he came and went over there as he pleased. This is all according to Bird himself.
Well you can speak to him again and tell him to come on Kev to say how it was. Jimmy said he heard that from a supposed reputable over there, so it's not Jimmy who cappin, it's either Byrd or the og that told JImmy the story. A lot of og's can buff up their gangsta because unless you are their age, you don't really know. Not taking away from anybody. We seen a handful of Kev interviews where some claims were made, but Kev brought og's on to straighten everything out.
@rickimhotep1236 Bird has already been on Kev Mac Videos on several occasions and has already told it how it was. If that individual is under 80 years of age, he may not have been a part of that particular era.
@rickimhotep1236 I've already spoken to Bird again in regards to this, and he reiterated that no individual had to have permission to go into any area. As he stated, you either went there or you didn't. And, he already stated that he had already downed a couple of dudes from Sin Town while going to visit a female over there. I myself spent a lot of days on Beech Street back in the early 1960s. I had family on that block.
