Whiskey Myers just gained a brand new fan. Thank you for reacting to little known artists and introducing us all to music that we otherwise likely wouldn't have found on our own! 😊😊
Whiskey Myers are awesome you should really check out some more of their music, I would start with Stone, Trailer we call home and Ballad of a Southern Man...
They grew up down the road from me (which in Texas means about a 45min drive) and this story does represent some of the stories down here...."Ballad of a Southern Man" is a great follow up song
I'm glad I escaped all the meth and cocaine in 2003! Thank God and he save from a fentanyl and pain medicine overdose in 2010. Clean 10 yrs Feb 12, 2020! There is always hard days, but I focus on the good family. But if not for God's grace I wouldn't be walk with me all the time. Thanks Billy for the songs.❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
I absolutely love whiskey Myers I love the old sound takes me back to when I used to listen to real country with my grampa and the story lines out of this world. Just when you think there great then I saw them live and my mind was blown there so good
I'm from the same area, school, etc as the song is abt (Neches, TX). It's unfortunately a very common story here. Time Out is a strip club, it's always weird to hear a local place being called out like that. Anyway, very proud of Cody and the rest of the band. 💜
Uncle Lucius - Keep The Wolves Away (*the Texas Music Scene upload) Guy Clark - The Guitar American Aquarium - When We Were Younger Men (video by Dan S) Larkin Poe - Mississippi Rival Sons - Too Bad
Whiskey Myers is one of the most under rated singer song writers out there who don't get any radio play but has put out a few albums and has a lot of great songs from them
Garrett Millerr YES!!! PLEASE!!! I want to see his reaction when he hears his voice!! I saw him perform at Gruene Hall last year. It was an amazing show!
Texas Red Dirt Country....going back to the days of Willie, Waylon and the Boys, songwriters first, singers second. His “Ballad of a Southern Man” is Amazing.
This story played out for me in real time from the time I was 16 to 28... Rebecca Disharoon was a beautiful smart girl with a promising future. Sadly I'm from Jackson Mississippi... and no one gets out of Jacktown without some serious damage. For years I picked her up in the middle of the night from places she had no business and begged her to get her act together... She'd have none of it. It was almost like she looked right past me. Becca was 26 years old when she passed away. She was found dead in some trap house, her 3 year old screaming her head off half dead and starving. Apparently she had been gone for a couple days and little Anna couldn't wake her mommy up.. I remember like it was yesterday the heart crushing voice of this sweet little girl walking down the church isle looking at all her momma's friends crying her eyes out.. "where's momma!?"... we all just had to hang our heads. No one could tell a three year old her mother was a small box of ashes a few feet from her. Not a day goes by I don't remember that little girl crying, and regretting not stepping in to do something. This song hurts my entire soul..
Great choice sir. These guys are a very good band. What you see is what you get. No BS. Checkout Dogwood, Colloquy, Dyin’ for Tonight, Song for You, Lonely East Texas Nights, Stone, Trailer We Call Home, and there is much more. Ballad of a Sourhern Man is good. Some say it’s not PC but I disagree. This is their older stuff. Good band. I live the channel.
That's pretty much how addiction goes no matter how hard you fight to get them to stop if they don't want to they won't till they choose life or death most choose death including my best friend so this song it really hits home for me
Love whiskey Myers, this is actually my favorite song of theirs. I can relate with battling depression and past addiction. Ppl are so quick to judge others without knowing ones story. The music itself is catchy and you feel it.
SABATON - GHOST DIVISION You will never understand the true raw energy and power Sabaton has and is able to induce to a crowd until you watch the live video of “Ghost Division” at Woodstock in Poland back in 2012 where they brought a crowd of over 650.000 Europeans, including Polish and French, to jam their heads in circles to a song about the 7th German Panzer division.
The song that got me addicted to this band. I've listened to all 5 of their albums & I can only think of maybe 3 songs I'm not fond of. Extremely underrated band but they are coming up. Their newest album debuted at #1 on the Billboard country charts & #5 on the Billboard rock charts.
Often people like to sympathize with the addict -& as one in recovery I appreciate the support - but I talk to my husband and know he’d benefit from being the one overlooked in his times of need❤
It old school yet Billy Joel uptown girl For the longest time. Both are very upbeat and makes you want to dance along also Just the way you are New York State of mind These two are calm. (Edit: saw you already have done uptown girl)
Justin Moore - The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,This is Country Music -- Brad Paisley,Doug Supernaw - I Don't Call Him Daddy,Aaron Lewis Grandday's gun, blake shelton austin,Johnny Paycheck the outlaw's prayer, sawyer brown the walk
Lightning Bugs and Rain!!! It tells a story too but one far different than this one. I love Whiskey Myers. Saying that, you need to check out a band named Reckless Kelly and their song Wicked Twisted Road.
Please react to “6ft Apart” by Alec Benjamin! No one wants to give his music a chance :( but with your platform I feel like some people would give him a chance, I’m hoping one of those people are you! When you get a chance please react to it, I’ve been trying for a while now :) but when you get the chance, please react to it Billy! Thank you for everything
I'll look that up myself when this video is over. I love discovering new music and artists. I frequently use Billy's comment sections to find artists I've never heard of before. Thanks for the suggestion, and I'll let you know what I think. 😊
Good suggestion! That's a sad and pretty song. His voice reminds me of Billy Gilman when he was young. How old is Alec? He sounds super young, but he has such a soothing voice. I like it. I'll have to listen to some more of his music.
Yo billy. React to waylon jennings more bro. Want to see a reaction from you. Do waylon jennings - outlaw shit. Want to see it. Asked you a month ago G
Whiskey Myers, Steel Woods, Cody Jinks, Flatland Cavalry the entire new southern rock and red dirt style is an incredible wave of music
Definitely gotta add Oak Treaty Revival to that list!!
Whiskey Myers just gained a brand new fan. Thank you for reacting to little known artists and introducing us all to music that we otherwise likely wouldn't have found on our own! 😊😊
I never heard this before. He held nothing back in telling her story. It really packs a punch.
Stone and Ballad of a Southern Man are also great songs by them. Really their whole 2011 album, “Firewater” is worth a listen.
