Great video! The caption on your driving gives us a glimpse of what your intentions and the car's performance.

A good trick is to preheat the breaks after a longer trip in snow, before you reach an incline. The breaks are used to keep the car on track and reduce the power to each wheel if it's slippery. If the breaks are iced this might reduce the breaking power enough to cause major troubles. :)

Tesla with dual engine are good for winter driving. The only thing you have to be aware of is that it is a heavy car. Four-wheel drive does not help if the car first loses traction. Therefore, one should not test the limits too much. Not on the road at least. You have a fantastic grip, but when it slips ... Also recommend using as little regeneration as possible when it is slippery. I ended up off the road once down a hill. It was black ice and wet. Luckily, I just slipped off the main road and onto a dirt road.

Interesting comment about the traction control light flashing. I have never seen mine flash, so i did not know it would do so. I guess I need to find more challenging conditions to try it in -- I did not take it out in our 2 or 3 snow storms this winter.

There is no dedicated traction control light, there's only an ESP light, it lits up while traction control is working or the break is altered to reduce breaking power on some wheels or if the ESP is working.
It just informs the driver that he is driving beyond or close to the abilities of the car, so he should stop doing that :)

Dual motor. Teslas don't have engines.

+Kushari Engine = Motor on Norwegian. "The word “engine” comes from the Latin word “ingenium.” An engine is a device or system (electrical, mechanical, chemical, or even social, human, or political) which effects a result." "Originally, “motor” was another word for “mover,” i.e., a thing which moves the rest of the device. “Motor” did not originate from “electric motor.” Long ago, motors were powered by wound springs..." Engine is a synonym for motor, although today is more appropriate to use the motor for an electric motor.

+Trond F Hi Trond. Yes I know people use it interchangeably, but it's better we make the distinction now so other adopt it.

What's wrong about calling an electric one an engine? It contains a reduction gear, an inverter, a control device and much more :)

Ruben Kelevra engine combust. Electric motors don't.

      Than explain rocket motors. :'D
Crazy english speaking people, we just use Motor for both. :)
Engine sounds like "This is a machine, I have no idea what it's doing" :)
