Wow, I had never heard that the veil was 4 fingers thick. That's mind-blowing! It speaks even more of man's inability to enter and be approved in God's presence by one's own efforts and toil. Who in the world would ever have the strength to tear so thick a veil apart with just their bare hands? It's one of the best images conveying that man just can't be saved through the works of the law. Praise God for the wonderful gift of His Son!
