My sister dated men her own age in her teens and 20's and it was one disaster after another. Met a 50 year old when she was 24; I just laughed and though it would be another disaster of hers. They are Happily married now for 10 years.

You are right. I'm 31 it's a lot easier for me to attract girls in 20s. Even teenagers. I'm a delivery guy. I had delivery from a restaurant. There was a girl who was 18 I think. I talked to her she flirted so much she played with her hair with a smile on her face. She told me I'm waiting for my tinder date. I said wow let me give you advice. I said if you want a serious relationship say to the guy if you really love wait 1 year. She smiled and said I bet you have a girlfriend. When I talk about relationship s she come near me then I laughed and say you know what, I think you just want to have fun with guys do your thing. Then took my bike and went because I had three deliverys at the same time. And one more thing I don't any mee too case on me and lose my job.

All of this about wealth and daddy issues is rubbish, written by people who don't know what they are talking about (immature people). I got over addiction at 37, got fit by 40. I had THE hottest and smartest woman in my workplace, 26, like me. She was a proper woman, brought up in a middle class family. I know she would have respected me for who I am. She saw me for who I am, a guy that turned it around. She moved away, but massively inspired me. I am forever grateful to her. I emailed her telling her she was an inspiration. So, yes age gap means nothing. I'll admit, it blow me away... In my case I was ill. But, when I recovered and got fit and well, women were still there. If a woman fancies a guy 14 years older, who cares. A hot secure confident woman wouldn't want an immature guy. She changed my life...! I was one of those guys who judged until it happened to me. At 40 I cracked it... and I can tell you, it is impossible until your own life is in order and you love yourself. Love yourself first.

I’ve always loved older men. When I was 12 I remember crushing on my dad’s employees who were in their mid to late 20’s. Now as a 34 year old woman, I find myself very attracted to men 40-50 years old. An interesting video. As an atypical older man of 67 and psychotherapist I think that a lot older men cintinue to be unable to be good communicators. Studies have shown that women verbaluze twice as much as men. Its thought that this is due to differences in brain structure especially in the connecting tissue between the 2 hemispheres. That diesnt change over one's life and i have seen so many middle aged couples who cannot communicate well.
I think another reason that older men can appear attractive yo younger women is especially when they have achieved more status and acumulated wealth. Unconsciously, that helps feel safer if tbeir older partner can help provide for them and offspring. I don't think it is conscious thing but I think it can be a strong factor.

@Water-Man Interesting. I wouldn't have thought that there was that much of an age gap. I look very young too and these last few years I've been getting very self conscious of my age wondering if younger women in their 20s-30s felt creeped out when I asked them out so that's good to hear. I wonder if there's an age they have that if we're not married it's a big red flag to them.
I disagree about being emotional or wanting to shower everyday. History shows women typically married older men. Why? Because when men were in their 20’s typically began to establish education and begin their careers. Women typically were the care takers and baby makers. They wanted to be married sooner than later. Men became established in their career typically in their mid to late 30’s. Secure in being able to earn and provide for their family. They also have had time and experience to add to their social dynamics and to figure out what kind of wife they were looking for. Women date across and up the on the age and socioeconomic scale and men date across and down on the age and socioeconomic scale.
