The black things in your attic are actually called baffles. They let the air circulate from your soffit up into your attic…. I know it’s too late, but it’s usually good to insulate around your mechanical room to dampen the noise. Also, it’s good to insulate the interior wall of mom and dad‘s room.

And we now live in Arizona, and to watch these guys down here dew a job that would take him and his crew a few days ,took them a day. I have been watching you home being put together. People go to Disney World to experience seeing giraffes outside their window. How special is it to have Badger pop up around your house. Also I like to say its always good to let people know you appreciate them, and by y’all cleaning up after the contractors they can get right to work when the arrive and have a clean environment to work in. Watching ducks on the water is so relaxing! I'd build a wood frame for a porch swing right by the pond. A quiet spot! Also, if its not too late, I'd make sure to insulate the garage walls. You may not need it now, but if you ever want to change it into a large family room( we did that. 5 kids when teens, great spot) or maybe a mother in law suite. Itll save work later. Excited for your new home for yall.

You need Muscovy Ducks!!! They kill snakes. They are a quiet duck They don't quack they kind of hiss. Love our Muscovy Ducks! Those ducks look young. Male ducks will get a curly tail feather and females won't. They are definitely fun to watch. God Bless ❤

Not sure if the ducks are purebred or mixed, or what age they are, but male ducks usually have a curl at the end of their tails. Some ducks you can tell the difference between male and female because of the color of their feathers, males are usually more colorful.

Someone might have already said this but, if I'm not mistaken Brandon Kyason's ducks will help with the algae in the pond as well. Good luck on getting them tame, it looks like they come to you fairly easy so it should be fairly easy to get them to eat out of your hand and then you can go from there. The rooster will eventually leave them alone right now they are new and they are fowl so he is trying to show his dominance. Love that the house is coming together so fast can't wait to see you step into it for the very first time.

we built a small house and I had the insulators put insulation in all of inside walls too for sounds. That way if one of us or both of us need to rest during the day, we won't hear someone in the kitchen or bathroom. It works great for that.

My late husband was a drywall finisher and my son is so I'm very familiar with that. Right now my son is trying to replace his tools. His were all stolen (about $2,000. worth). Please keep him in your prayers as it was a family member that he loved and trusted.

Thank you for sharing your house build with us. Things are happening now. Have you all thought of writing notes to put in the walls for future find? When we re-did our bathroom we found news papers dated back to when the house was build. Just a thought💜💜
