I could barely keep back the joy because it is my mother's most favorite flower. Just make the chain as directed then stack the little flowers a top each other! Different shades of purple make a great decoration! Only thing is I'm trying to get creative enough to make a lilac bush lol.
Im going to try this with thicker yarn to make a table cover or something! I want to make the small ones to put on a dress for my granddaughter! So cute!

Yeah. If you're new to crochet, I'd recommend you doing what Laura has shown in the video and stitching it to the edge of your baby blanket. There is another way, but it's hard to write it out here for a beginner without confusing you. Good luck!

When you do the slip stitch you could go through the blanket also. Or you could make the chain and slip stitch to the blanket.
