That's a nice patch of land. Nice weather too! It's always good to get outside to nature. Now you have enough trail footage you can make a 3 hour loop of you walking down the path to the LotR soundtrack.
Now that is an idea hahaha. Glad you enjoyed it man can't beat getting out in nice weather. Doesn't happen often here

Came for the booze in the thumbnail, stayed for the chaotic mess of an adventure, and then was won over by the genuine feels.
Spectacular work man, really loved this one. I've been to scotland once and alot of my family background is scottish so this really made me want to break out my kilt!
But, all this arguing over New Zealand vs Scotland for Middle Earth has me thinking... Canada is a pretty legit place :P
Haha thanks man glad you enjoyed it. Get that kilt out! I would absolutely love to see a Canadian adventure I've always wanted to go travelling there! I watched a BBC programme of someone travelling across Canada by train and I've always wanted to do it.

Not all those who wonder are lost... Some are just looking for a place to paint minis 😂 This was a great one! I've only been up Scotland once and spent most of the drive pointing out how every new view that came round the corner was Middle Earthy

@@jmaccsarmiesofmiddleearth they are big beer and wine drinkers. High quality wine is ludicrously cheap here. As for spirits, there are lots of rums and gins here along with classic Mediterranean "digestive" liqueurs like limoncello and Pacharán from Basque country.

Dude I'm so glad I found your channel youre the best in mesbg content my man. I live in the US but my grandfather and grandmother were born and grew up in Scotland, they were lowlanders near Glasgow and Edinburg but close enough. I'd love to go there...but anyway went on a uninteresting rant there but you're doing great work. I can't find those highland clan models here I only found a few for a lot on eBay. Always bring the highlanders in my Napoleonic army so I want the same for my gondor army
Thanks mate that's very kind! What state are you in? Yeh I'm currently living in Glasgow, the Great thing about Scotland is its so small you can get anywhere in a few hours. Lots of Scottish heritage in the US 😀

Btw, padded armor gives more protection than plate against axes or sword strikes. Thats probably why angbor wears them? Although it definitly doesn't look as majestic
