I am not a friend or a business associated with Alsyvox, but after 30 minutes of auditioning the Botticelli X ,I save some money and bought it.After 4 months,I am still amazed and never regretted my decision.A true speaker design breakthrough. You should try to audition these👍👌
Great to get the creators perspective on his life long passion with these beauties and you know they sound as good if not better than they look.. Not an easy feat. Just Gobsmacking to bestow these hand made Artisan beauties and with a child like fascination that captivates with wonderment.. True Audiophile beauty and Nirvana comes at a hefty cost, but with dreams that are attainable.
Man, the noise surrounding Alysyvox has all been good news; love the presentation and interview 🔊🎶 The Caravaggio would, in my mind, compete against Børresen M6, whilst the Michelangelo might compete against either Magico M9 or Tidal La Assoluta! Amazing technology happening in the speaker space, and these ribbon speakers are bleeding edge! 👏🏽🔥
@@vladimirdorta6692 Oh that is very true, and I was not trying to say that these were similar sounding, but competitive in the quality of sound reproduction using next-gen technologies, and the overall positive impressions by those who have heard them. Or, to put another way, I was complimenting the Alsyvox systems and speakers on achieving the highest of excellences of sonic performance with little to no compromises, similar to the other speakers I have mentioned. Of course, none of these speakers or systems are affordable to me (I predominantly listen to high-end headphone systems), but I am fascinated by audio reproduction at multiple budgets; the engineering at the far extreme, the extreme budget, and the middle ground, is its own hobby of interest to me. Hope that clarifies my comment!

Nice Planar magentic speaker, one of , if not the top in this field in terms of specs! that guy from absolute sound keeps calling it a ribbon, the dude from alsyvox keep repeating its a planar magnetic) push pull is same polartity.... not different, else there is nothing to push :)
I'm "that guy from The Absolute Sound" and I call it a ribbon because there is a distinction between a planar-magnetic design and a true ribbon. In a planar-magnetic driver like the Magnepan, a conductor is bonded to the Mylar film diaphragm. The audio signal flows through the conductor. In a true ribbon like the AlsyVox, the entire diaphragm is electrically conductive and the audio signal flows through the diaphragm. Both are "planar" designs.
@@RobertHarley-dk1thbut it's aluminum foil traces bonded to a mylar sheet, not just an aluminum conductor acting as both the conductor and the diaphragm. By convention, a "true ribbon" this is not.
Oh my goodness. How does Robert still not understand. At the very beginning he mentions these are true ribbon speakers. Then, Daniele just explained that it's aluminum foil glued to mylar backing, but Robert immediately follows that with an explanation of a true ribbon. These are planar speaker just Magnepans. Better built, but the same basic principle of operation.
C'mon Harley...how many years have you been in the biz and you still can't correctly explain how a ribbon works ? Just goes to show, how you guys are in bed with big buck manufacturers for that advertising dollar and your technical comprehension is sadly lacking.
I'm sorry but the Caravaggio XX with super sized external crossover and is shown here is $256,000. The Rafaello is $250,000. There is also a Tintoretto at $80,000 and the Botticelli at $110,000 The standard Caravaggio is $198,500 @@taidee
Weird, out of tune music playing for an audiophile magazine. Actually it is probably a digital plug in emulating wow and flutter speed variation on an old cheap cassette or 8track. Trying to sound old school reminiscent
It's a personal point of view. All my customers and visitors say that they are very beautiful, ok they need some place in the house. Really this is one of the most wanted audio component by wife I encountered in 40 years, the other is the APURNA™ amplifier from France.

Love these interview videos with the speaker designers !

These are something 😍
These speakers are beautiful to look at and sound even better. ❤
Great video. Have to hear some Alsyvox. Interesting on the toe-in. Much more than typical planar/maggie, etc.
Nice dude. Cool speaker
Met Paola & Daniele, great people 👍
If you get the chance to hear an Alsyvox Speaker don’t pass it up. They are some Real Magic.
That obscure object of desire….

Very different speakers all.
its a complete different speaker. there is absolutely nothing to compare

4 - way speakers, in general the best of the best ;-)
No link to their website?
Listened to Botticelli model w external crossovers. Caravaggio is closer to my 20.7s size. 5mm excursion on the 20.7s. 20mm excursion on Alsyvox 😊
20.7s have no bass, Alsyvox speakers have amazing bass.

More bottom end than Alsyvox
@@CarlVanDoren61 Alsyvox doesn't need subs.
I doubt the 20.7 can do 5 mm excursion. I’m a Maggie fan but that sort of excursion will cause bass slap on a Maggie.
@@JohnLee-db9ztran 20.7s
with no subs couple years
Lacked bottom end notes
But was exceptionally nice

Price for each model please.
Prices in France (and in Europe), a bit more expensive in USA

Takes two weeks to build, hand crafted
May of been discounted for advertising
Upon listening, the speaker sells itself
I would have expected that part of a review would be to hear the speaker. Strange
With 12 watts on panels Bob is not very sensitive to clipping ..
Who will be supporting Alsyvox here in the USA? So far I have seen very little exposure of this brand.
Rhapsody Audio. Www dot rhapsody audio dot com
Why did we not hear prices…
This Caravaggio is listed at $176 000, this is top of the TOTL

Mercy..... 😮😢
Robert……your fashion sense is slipping again! Socks with sandals is a terrible no no! 😅😅😅
Why can’t they just play them aswell
That a guy who looks like Harpo Marx builds speakers that look like a harp is no surprise.

The Other unaffordable Ribbon loudspeaker
Love them, but ZERO WAF. I won't be upgrading.
Depends upon the W.
Next time find a W that will A. 🙂
i chose my wife based on speaker acceptance. these speakers are gorgeous.
