Yūki Ishikawa (石川祐希, born 11 December 1995) is a Japanese volleyball player, a member of the Japan men's national volleyball team and Italian club Top Volley Latina.
実姉の影響で岡崎市立矢作南小学校4年生よりバレーボールを始めた[1]。岡崎市立矢作中学校卒業。高校は星城高等学校（愛知県豊明市）に進学し、2012年・2013年の二年連続高校三冠の原動力となった[3]。
2014年4月に中央大学（法学部政治学科[4][5][6]）に進学し、全日本代表候補入りを果たした[3]。同年6月、東京オリンピックに向けた強化指定選手である「Team CORE」のメンバーに選出された[7]。同年9月には仁川で行われたアジア大会に出場し、シニア代表デビューを果たした[8][9]。
2014年8月25日に、イタリアのクラブセリエAのパッラヴォーロ・モデナが2014/15シーズンに石川と契約すると発表した。契約期間は1年間]で、3か月間留学した。
また、2016年7月8日の記者会見でイタリアバレーボールリーグセリアA1のトップ・バレー（ラティーナ）への短期派遣を発表した[12]。期間は2016年12月の全日本大学選手権終了後から約3か月間。
大学卒業後は、Vリーグのチームに所属せず、プロバレーボール選手として活動している。 - กีฬา

Volleyball is actually popular in my country, right next to basketball. They will always telecast Every championship between tight rival schools.
So I think it depends on which country.
Just go to your local Volleyball clubs to raise the awareness. When the match are crowded with people the sponsors will come by itself and marketing ensues. Games are as popular as the crowds

Train hard and watch videos of great players to learn from them. Increase your muscles. (Ishikawa was too thin when he was in college so he had to contract a nutritionist to help him figure out his diet.) Good luck!
Ishikawa is the best japan player right now..he is definitely one of the best all-round players either in defense, offense and in term of creativity

He is by far the most consistent hitter I've seen. No matter what kind of set you throw at him, he will demolish that ball and make points!
M16 realize yes he’s amazing but this is also a highlight reel.
As an outside hitter, i really get inspired watching Ishikawa. Besides his amazing technique when spiking, he can actually do it all. Solid receives, ability to set, a true all arounder. I think thats where he manages to surpass most outside hitters, since he's shorter in comparison. Nishida is also elite, but I think he's more like that last resort based on strenght and vertical (even tho he's also amazingly skilled, as we all know)
Tiago Campos Imagine being a setter in high school, a libero in Italy, and an outside hitter in your national team? Yuki Ishikawa, king of versatility. But I think his best asset is his humility and passion. I can feel it on my screen every time I watch him.

Don't compare Ishikawa with any other player in Japan, for me he is always different from all the other Japanese players and he is truly the best player. He is a very comprehensive player

Ishikawa= Absolute Precision
His jumping posture is beautiful. As an artist i just love the dynamic and elegancy of his moves.

この試合見て石川の存在感はもちろんだけど、福澤のオーバーハンドでのレセプションの安定感がすごいと思った。
aぱす入るからパイプで石川を有効に機能させてる。
個が強くなればチームが強くなるってほんとにこの事なんだなって思う。
アタックが決まる、ブロックで止める、ブロックを上げる、トス回しに余裕ができる
とりあえずかっこいいです。

That synchronized back row was insane. Also the setter is good. Actually team japan has the best team play ever. They can maximize the skills of each players. I'm also a huge fan of their libero.
