In short he needed water for his household. He drill 500 feet deep and after inserting pipe he sent down a submersible pump to pump the water. He fixed it 130 feet and if the water level drops he will just use to drop the pump further to secure a water level and he can go deep 500 feet to the maximum. The whole process took 12 hours to complete

i never knew there were such small machines exist for borewell.i recently had a 200 feat borewell dug for my home and we had a big truck with compressor and the rig attached to it. and it was cheap as well around 1000$ in india.

Very Old Technology. Now a Days Tractor Mounted Hydraulic Drilling Machines are available which Drill 6 inch Bore Much Faster. But Kudos to Workmen for their Hard work and Knowledge. Soil is not Rocky. This Machine will fail in Semi Rocky Formation.. Anyway, You cannot expect Technology in Pakistan. I am interested in Cost of Drilling Excluding Pipes & Submersible. Good Video giving in depth understanding of Rural Drilling Methods.
Wonderful job. If you used metal pail in the fire. To heat up the pipe without putting soot on the pipe. Heating but keep it clean. You all very hard workers.👍💯🥳
