Good video Great video! I don't think you have to worry about anaerobic bacteria, Aerobic bacteria only occupy the first inch of top soil; the rest in your garden is anaerobic. Blessings to you and your garden.
2. Chicken manure old manure not fresh. ( Fresh have a potential of bacteria such as E.coli, Salmonella etc.);;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; You said not to use fresh chicken manure due to presence of e-coli, salmonella. Keeping and leaving it dry for 7 days is a hazard to the fresh air and it also invite flies that would disturb the neighborhood I am staying. My question is how to rid them of in short time.
You should use old manure and not fresh due to potential of new manure having the presence of E.coli and Salmonella. As you prepare use an old pillowcase and don't cover the bucket, it will reduce the chances of the smell. Also stir twice a day to mix the brew.
Yes, I pulled the leaves because the brew has a lot anaerobic bacteria which might affect the plant by initiating certain disease. You can use it twice per week for potted plants but for yard plants once per week will be ok.
just use any available material at your disposal that can work the same. what we are doing here is to make sure we extract all the nutrients rom the poo
It’s not a compost tea recipe. It’s how to take hot chicken manure and turn it into a fertilizer that won’t burn plants. If u want a compost tea, I suggest you buy a bag of stutzman chicken Manure Some earthworm castings And some unsulphured molasses and a shovel full of local leaf matter. Put a shovel full of each in a paint strainer bag. Make it like his tea bag. Put it in a plastic trash can with a cup of molasses and add a aquarium pump with stone to aerate it After 16-24 hrs depending on outside temp, it should look like a root beer float and smell sweet. Use immediately Once it’s starts smelling putrid it has passed it’s prime. You can use leftover material in bag as top dressing

I see you pulled the leaves back, was that just so we could see better? It won't burn them will it?
How often should I use this? 1x a week or so?

How long can the tea be stored after it’s finished?
it doesnt have specific shelllife since its bacteria that works on it, it can be stored for long the problem will be the stench from the tea.
@@KitchenGardenn Awesome thank you! I’ve brewed mine up and storing. I have applied it once so far and it’s great stuff!
@@rdg771s123 that's wonderful
Good job and info but it works for new manure or ?
It's good to use old manure since it has less bacteria eg the E.coli and Salmonella
@@KitchenGardenn how old is old, pls?
Old means that the poo has decomposed.
