nice list :) I have almost all Uwe games, i still need Atiwa in my collection though, my favourite is Gates of Loyang because of the flow of the game and amazing good solo mode, it just plays so fluidly and a challenge every time, its more about the gameplay because its a beat your own score type of game. I will pick up Calico very soon because my kids would also love that game.
I am yet to play Gates of Loyang, ironically someone sold a copy fairly cheap on my local buy, swap and sell FB page this weekend. Was never originally sold off that cover art, but now will be sure to keep an eye out for it next time one is up for sale 👍

Love seeing Wild: Serengeti getting some love. It's actually on my table right now. Played one with my wife and one solo. Life of the Amazonia Kickstarter delivered late last year. I personally don't like the solo mode as much. The bag building is tough to turn over in solo mode because of limited number of turns you get. And I don't find the scenarios as good. Have to gie it another chance but Wild: Serengeti is definitely more fun for me solo. Get Wyrmspan and play it solo. It's got a far superior solo mode to Wingspan and will take Wingspan out of your best of solo gaming lists. Then you can talk about it again.
Yeah I never ended up backing Life of the Amazonia but I remember being super tempted due to incredible meeples. It just adds so much fun to the table seeing all those animals 😁 My next video will definitely have Wyrmspan in it, I found another 8 games with more animals including mythical animals that I pulled off my shelf to get played this week. My plan is to really get through my collection and properly rank them all. 2024 is my year of solo gaming!
What there is though is the games that I truly love, I really want to share those with anyone willing to watch my videos. But with this series, I also want to share the solo games that I didn't enjoy. Also valid point with the time stamps, I thought youtube was supposed to do that for me as I hit the automatic chapters button. All good mate, will get this fixed tomorrow for you 👍
