Nothing better than kangaroo for boot tops! I still long to offer kangaroo in lots of colors but all the factories have a 100 skin minimum per color so it would be a big investment.

    Hi Lisa,
First time commenting, your work looks great and you put so much detail into your boots.
I was reading up on you and you’re boot making craft the other day and came across your sad story of Paige. I then looked up the rest of the story. I lost my brother a long time ago (he was 20 yo) and while it was hard for all my family I think it is especially hard for a mother. I now have 2 sons of my own and I can’t imagine loosing one of them. I think you’re a very brave lady carrying on as well as you do and I hope each day gets a little brighter as you carry on working with your amazing leather craft. I watched Paige fill in for you on one of the videos, she seemed such a nice girl and had such a bright future ahead of her. My kindest regards, Gerard.

Gerard, thank you so much for your kind words. Paige was so special and talented, and she is deeply missed. I have found a loving and supportive community through that loss though.
