I love how unique all the starters final forms are. Plus this gives us insight into how Evolution works. It’s not just a product of time but also of environment. This dicidueye, Samurot, and typhlosion all look different from their normal evolutions because they were raised in an entirely different environment which bred different unique looks and typings.

Nah decidueye is dope. Yeah that x4 weakness to flying hurts, but once you cover its weaknesses you’re good. Triple arrows, leaf blade is pretty spicy if you ask me. Ik we have different presences when it comes to the starters, but literally decidueye is not even that bad it’s pretty good actually. Also you probably know this but triple arrows lowers defence, so if you agile style then use leaf blade with that 90 base power plus stab, and high crit ratio that’s going to hit hard.

What makes Decidueye looks weird is just the folded wings(that OG Decidueye has) but when it uses a move in battle, it looks much better.

Not many people like its new design and its stats and typing got changed for the worse. Fighting type is mediocre with Grass which already has many weaknesses. Also it is somehow even slower than the original. That is especially bad in this game considering that you can easily be outsped by 75% of the mons in the game.

Typhlosion was my favorite from gen 2, and seeing it's Hisui form felt weird, but the added ghost type and pokedex entry made it a lot cooler for me.
