Decidueye's name come from deciduous trees trees whose leaves turn red in the autumn and die in the winter. So the second form of decidueye makes sense. Due to the colder climate his green leaves just turned red. I didn't realize this the first time. Either way both decidueye forms look like mumei. Her regular outfit and kimono outfit.
It was supposed to look more gentle and relaxed than the original which look super pissed, but it just didn't translate very well with the model. Seems like even with a new form, Typhlosion is getting screwed over by the 3D artstyle. Feelz bad, man. I've seen a ton of art making it look awesome, thankfully. People are "warming up" to its design.
Note: Hololive menbaas who picked Oshawott haven't evolved it to Samurott yet. Sana is close to evolving her Dewott but she removed it from her party to make Togekiss her main.

One thing I recently learned about puffer fish delicacy, some people describe the taste of puffer fish as: "it tastes as if death is drawing near" the thrill of eating something that could kill you. This is the perfect Pokémon to add to Calli's team!!!
This game's starter situation is a fucking nightmare for me. Because in Black and White I chose Oshawott as my first ever starter, and in Sun and Moon I chose Rowlet.

when I saw him the first time I instantly wrote the design off, but after finishing the game once and actually having one evolved and fighting, I picked rowlet when I restarted. Really grew on me. I still like Typhlosion the most followed by samurott(even tho Im still dissapointed he didnt get a biped form), but this decidueye def grew on me. But yeah, that said, I prefer the OG, but I like the shiny hisuian the best.

If my favourite evolution line didn't get a new Pokémon that is as cool as the first two in Ursaluna, it would be my favourite. The others just didn't change enough for my liking. Sure Typhlosion has the flames, but ghostly fire has already been done before, so it didn't feel special. I'm not the biggest fan of shiny Decidueye either. It's cool, but I don't think the old colours work for it. Funny how diverse opinions can be.

Typhlosion looks high without his flames, but the typing is the best out of the 3 imo. Samurott practically looks the same, but it’s better looking ngl. That typing is probably the main reason people didn’t choose Decidueye. Maybe if they made him grass/steel type more people would’ve chose him.
I love both Alolan and Hisuian Decidueye. The Alolan form feels like an Assassin, while the Hisuian feels like a Ronin. Both designs caught my heart as a fan of Assassin's Creed and Ghost of Tsushima.
h dicidueye is a good design, but if you compare it to the original which many has it as their fave for the alolan games, will like the Western rouge design more than the eastern one For example, I really liked typhlosion in the gens where it was just sprites since he was a menacing design, but when he was ported to the 3d side he became underwhelming since his fire is mostly off. I mean come on we have mons perpetually on fire, most of the fire starters do, why you gotta do typhlosion dirty like that XD.. I was hoping they would do an extinguishable flame on h typh since it's ghostly flames, but nah.. I guess I'll go with oshawot as my starter then, after all dark is just better ghost Hahaha, and also I like dark knight tropes
I’m guessing they kept the angular look because it matches regular decidueye’s hood, but the hat would look better if it was smooth, I think. Also, I don’t understand what’s happening with its arms. Are they always crossed or something?
