That's a lovely paper pad and you've made a wonderful collection of cards with it. I like the slightly rustic, comfy feel of the papers and the warm colors. Such pretty cards! I do like watching even though it's sped up. You can still see how you put these together. The Pretty coordinating papers are definitely key! Love watching you turn 6x6 pads into cards. All turned out beautifully! Question: after seeing you use the card creator die so often, I purchased one. The frame turned out just right, but how do you cut the little squares from your leftover paper scraps? I'd love to see a dedicated video on how to use these various card creators/background dies start to finish. I can't seem to figure out how to cut the various little pieces from scraps.

What company cardstock r u using. I love this paper pack but having a problem matching lighter weight cardstock for layers. Stampin up is great paper but my cards r so heavy by the time I am done with layers etc. I am so glad u picked this pack. I think the first sketch is my favorite although this changes with each new card u make. Lol
Rosemarie Rohlfs Hello. I use a variety of different brands for cardstock. Most is stuff I’ve had in my room for many years. When I do need to purchase a specific color, I buy cardstock from either Joann’s or Michaels. Bazzill, Coredinations, Recollections. Since I use a heavy weight paper for card bases, my cards can handle the layers just fine. 😊
They’re all gorgeous, of course, but I think my absolute favorites are the one with the cut aparts for the sentiments. (You were wearing the grey and white striped shirt) Couldn’t see the number of the sketch. Around 35:40. Also, it’s hard for me to ascertain your prep time and die cutting time. I see you do that during the video (Prep time is cutting stuff up, IMO). When you give us the time frame of making the cards (“just under 5 hrs”, etc), is that the time you’re leaving out in your calculation? Does this make any sense at all?😜 Thank you!❤️
Nikki Hensley Thank you! This collection includes some lovely cut aparts. 😊 The “just under 5 hours” is everything you see in this video. Just sped up 7 times. My prep time is everything off camera. Choosing coordinating cardstock, selecting card sketches, figuring out measurements for the sketches, die cutting, sometimes coloring images, scoring card bases, etc. There’s a lot more time involved creating these videos than what is shown. 🙂

Such pretty cards! I do like watching even though it's sped up. You can still see how you put these together. The Pretty coordinating papers are definitely key! I have a ton of Christmas papers so I will choose coordinating pads and work on selecting some card sketches and get to work!! Thanks for sharing how you create! It is fun to watch!

Oh no! Just when I convinced myself I had enough Christmas paper for this year. Now I find I NEED to get this pad. I love, love your videos. Love watching you turn 6x6 pads into cards. All turned out beautifully! Question: after seeing you use the card creator die so often, I purchased one. The frame turned out just right, but how do you cut the little squares from your leftover paper scraps? I'd love to see a dedicated video on how to use these various card creators/background dies start to finish. I can't seem to figure out how to cut the various little pieces from scraps.
I don't know how you do it. I am new to card making and your videos on the card packs blow me away. This pack is beyond festive and calm and cheerful too. TYFS. Hugs. PS. How can I get some of these card sketches so I can have them handy?

What was the powder you put on some of the stamps? I am always amazed how you will pick some paper out and I'll think it won't look good and when you get done it's beautiful! What is your secret for pairing the right designs?
What company cardstock r u using. I love this paper pack but having a problem matching lighter weight cardstock for layers. Stampin up is great paper but my cards r so heavy by the time I am done with layers etc. I am so glad u picked this pack. I think the first sketch is my favorite although this changes with each new card u make. Lol
Rosemarie Rohlfs Hello. I use a variety of different brands for cardstock. Most is stuff I’ve had in my room for many years. When I do need to purchase a specific color, I buy cardstock from either Joann’s or Michaels. Bazzill, Coredinations, Recollections. Since I use a heavy weight paper for card bases, my cards can handle the layers just fine. 😊
They’re all gorgeous, of course, but I think my absolute favorites are the one with the cut aparts for the sentiments. (You were wearing the grey and white striped shirt) Couldn’t see the number of the sketch. Around 35:40. Also, it’s hard for me to ascertain your prep time and die cutting time. I see you do that during the video (Prep time is cutting stuff up, IMO). When you give us the time frame of making the cards (“just under 5 hrs”, etc), is that the time you’re leaving out in your calculation? Does this make any sense at all?😜 Thank you!❤️
Nikki Hensley Thank you! This collection includes some lovely cut aparts. 😊 The “just under 5 hours” is everything you see in this video. Just sped up 7 times. My prep time is everything off camera. Choosing coordinating cardstock, selecting card sketches, figuring out measurements for the sketches, die cutting, sometimes coloring images, scoring card bases, etc. There’s a lot more time involved creating these videos than what is shown. 🙂

I loved your video. Could not find your blog. You mentioned giving your cards to a retirement or senior home. Are they given to the residents as a greeting to them, or are they for the residents to give out? Was curious on that if you don't mind me asking.
